My Wife Is Going To Have To Start Hospice Care Soon

I got Elouise home on Christmas Eve.....I've started feeding her and she's eating pretty good.

I just have to make sure not to give her anything spicy.

No tomatoes. Caught her trying to steal some coffee a while ago and intercepted it before she could drink any.

She spent 4 days in a hospital bed, so she's kind of weak, but she's walking now. I have to watch her.

But now that I'm getting good food in her , her strength is coming back.
Oh let her have a cup of coffee. It's not as if....

Before I met my wife she was a very good faith-healer. She sometimes gave readings with Taro cards.
She could spot a fake reader from a mile away.

She got really deep into it, and she said that she started seeing visions of Heaven and Purgatory. She saw a side of evil on Earth that scared her so much that she gave up the practice. The Devil has domain of the Earth and what she saw made her stop faith-healing. The Devil has it in for anyone who's close to God. It's easy to go along with the Devil and evil, but it's next to impossible to stick with being pure and clean. But the more pure and clean you become, the more evil offends you. That's just the Devil using our humanity against us.

Billy Graham once said that, the closer we get to God the more we will feel our own sin. It's true.

The good news is you, your wife, and the rest of us will will all be in Heaven one day.

Prayers up for the Mudwhistle family
My wife was spitting up blood yesterday morning and I called an ambulance. They worked on her last night and she has several problems:

  • They say she has COVID but it's not COVID19
  • The doctor told me she has a mass in her brain and a mass in her lung
  • Because of her age I really don't have any options other to start her on hospice care here at home
So if anyone is wondering why my Christmas spirit is in the crapper.....this is what I've been dealing with.
Hopefully she can come home next week and she can pass in peace here in our home.
Prayers up for you, and your wife, our good friend, mudwhistle. Love to your whole family of kin and friends.

She sounds like a wonderful lady. We know you'll be strong for her. You're both in the prayers of many.
