My Grampa passed away last night

He had been on hospice for two weeks because of heart failure and kidney failure. He was able to see all of his grandchildren in the past two weeks.

He died at home peacefully at the age of 93. I'll miss him.

I lost all my grandparents years ago, and my parents (they never got to see any of their great grandkids). It's very hard...but i believe your grandfather is being blessed right now

Considering the brevity of human life, it seems your grandfather had a fine life and longevity is a good hereditary genetic predisposition.

If his branch was from your mother's side, even better. A sad event, nevertheless. You have my sympathies.
