Trump jokes he’ll blame Vance if Iran deal doesn’t work out.

President Trump joked Wednesday that he will blame Vice President Vance if the preliminary deal with Iran falls through.

“I like that idea, sure,” Trump said when asked by Fox News’s Peter Doocy if his vice president would take the fall if the deal fails.

“If it works out, I’m going to take the credit. If it doesn’t work out, I’m blaming JD. You better be careful, JD. He’s going to turn his plane around and get the hell out of here,” he joked.

Why? Because you are a democrat, that's why.

He was being tongue and cheek obviously

CIA's Radcliff, Marco Rubio and Pete Hegseth all oppose this JDVance deal. Here is also why:

Takeaways from Trump news conference on Iran deal

Sure. Well, the president has been making some pretty grandiose claims all week here in Evian about the things that this one and a halfpage agreement will accomplish. Most notably, he says it will prevent Iran from ever getting a nuclear weapon. But he hasn't explained how exactly the deal will do that. And the drafts that have been circulating, you know only mention Iran's nuclear program a couple of times.
The rest of the document deals with the Straight of Hormuz, deals with sanctions, unfreezing assets and things like that.

And so I just wanted to ask him directly, why are you claiming that this particular deal is going to prevent Iran from ever getting a nuclear weapon?

And he said, well, if they try to get a nuclear weapon, then we'll just bomb them, which may be the case, but that's not the same as a deal that enforces it.
So, I followed up by asking him, if there's anything enforcable in this deal, any kind of mechanism that prevents Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.
And he kind of blew it off.
He said, "Well, what do you want me to do?
Sue them or take them to court? What kind of enforcement are you talking about?"

But the reality is, that the two sides are about to embark on a lengthy negotiation that will involve enforcable benchmarks. That would be enforced by the US, enforced by international agencies to hopefully ensure that Iran doesn't begin nuclear development again.
And whether that negotiation will be successful is still up in the air, but it's pretty clear that this memorandum of understanding does not do what President Trump claims it does, preventing Iran from ever getting a nuclear weapon.

Bullshit. Thats why Rubio is hiding. The shitstorm on this is just starting.
When Trump opens up a diet soda a shitstorm starts on him. If only you worked with him to some degree. We live in society that is more and more guilty until proven innocent to those who are not Progressive Socialists while you twist it around.

Poor Vance. He was against the war and now he has to be the face of the surrender. Trump set the dumb weasel up as the negotiator of this total capitulation.

Of course he's the fall guy. It was planned that way from the get-go.

Even hard left socialist Tulsi Gabbard could see that coming from a mile away and got out while she could.

This is not a two-sided internal war. There are two sides plus many millions who have legitimate gripes on treatment from other citizens in their personal lives. You guys are vengeance to some people. The tragedy is that very few people who have messed with others in illegitimate ways will stand up and admit it. Over a lifetime the numbers can grow foreach individual affected. Those who took it upon themselves to spread rumor and accusations on others have caused widespread misery for many. Forgiveness can happen if one admits to it depending on the degree of pain administered. Families have been affected from this and those who are guilty of messing with others and got away with it have ended up starting a national movement which is leading towards a dictatorship.
