Palestinians routinely commit war crimes.
Hiding behind human shields is a war crime.
Using civilian infrastructure to launch attacks is a war crime.
Not wearing uniforms as an organized force is a war crime.
Israel is accused of committing war crimes but Palestinians are the ones who actually commit them.
Indulging the delusion of "resistance" justifies the use of war crimes as a strategy so Palestinians never have to be held to account for them. They are never punished, never sanctioned, and never forced to accept responsibility for the terrible and criminal things they do.
Indulging the delusion of victimhood ("the Nakba") prevents Palestinians from ever having to bear responsibility, overcome obstacles, or have any agency. Permanent refugees means they don't have to ever do the hard work of governing or holding democratic elections. So they spend all that time plotting to kill Jews instead of planning for governance. They are treated and indulged like children which is ironic because they use child soldiers...also a war crime.
And finally, indulging the delusion that one day, Israel will just magically collapse gives Palestinians no incentive to compromise. Why compromise if one day Israel will be gone because (insert name here) says so? This is the most damaging delusion to indulge because it is the primary reason why no compromise has ever been reached.
