More than 4 million Americans have already voted, suggesting record turnout

I don't see how record turnout bodes well for a candidate who inspires as much enthusiasm as a beige room.
In an interview on “Fox & Friends,” Trump referenced proposals from Democrats in the coronavirus stimulus negotiations that would have vastly increased funding for absentee and vote-by-mail options. The final package included $400 million for the effort, which was far less than what Democrats had sought.

“The things they had in there were crazy,” Trump said. “They had things — levels of voting that, if you ever agreed to it, you’d never have a Republican elected in this country again.”

Huge turnouts don't normally help the Republicans, hence their efforts to challenge electoral rolls in an attempt to suppress the vote.
Have you ever considered once that most of those 4 million ballots are from Trump supporters in blue states? Maybe they don't want to be confronted by some rabid leftists at the polls

You really are a piece of work. You don't trust Fox or your own ears. Some people never get tired of being played. :auiqs.jpg:

Not the question I asked. Biden can't draw flies if his pockets were filled with shit....With such a dearth of enthusiasm on the part of his supporters, how does that bode well for him in a big turnout year?
You didn't ask a question. You made a statement.
Oh fuck my life.
Being shown to be a fool will elicit that emotion.

Correct.

Republicans seek to suppress the right to vote by placing unwarranted obstacles and barriers to voting and by working to disqualify perfectly legitimate ballots.

You have been living too long in the USMB bubble. You fail to realise how loathed the Orange Buffoon is.
The turnout is not because people love Biden, it's because they hate Trump. It's called "the Hillary Effect" - ie, the reason the Fat Piece of Shit won the 2016 election.

All I can say is, if you're not voting for TRUMP!, make SURE you go vote in person on Nov 5th. That's the only way to do it. Let those other guys all vote on the 3rd, you know better.

‘Americans are rushing to cast ballots ahead of the Nov. 3 election at an unprecedented pace, early voting numbers show, indicating a possible record turnout for the showdown between President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden.

With four weeks to go before Election Day, more than 4 million Americans already have voted, more than 50 times the 75,000 at this time in 2016, according to the United States Elections Project, which compiles early voting data.

The shift has been driven by an expansion of early and mail-in voting in many states as a safe way to cast a ballot during the coronavirus pandemic and an eagerness to weigh in on the political future of Trump, said Michael McDonald of the University of Florida, who administers the project.

“We’ve never seen this many people voting so far ahead of an election,” McDonald said. “People cast their ballots when they make up their minds, and we know that many people made up their minds long ago and already have a judgment about Trump.”’

Bad news for Trump and the GOP; when voter turnout is high, Republican candidates tend to lose.
COVID is definitely a factor.

I have bad news for you; your constant Trump hating is driving millions of pro-Trump and anti or lukewarm Democrats voters to vote for Trump.
But please continue to have your fantasies.

I don't live in the USMB Bubble and I live in one of the Bluest areas of the US...two Biden signs, both accompanied by Black Lives Matter signs.
Trump takes the Electoral Vote.

I would argue the enthusiasm isn't to elect Biden, but rather to unelect Trump.

In the age of the big bad boogy virus, lots of scared shitless lefties will do this. I likely only represents a shift...and not a record turnout.

In my experience, "away from" voting doesn't often yield the desired turnout or results.

But that's why they play 'em.
