More than 1 million voters switch to the GOP

I knew this went on during the general election but I had no idea it goes on in the primary as well.

More so in the primaries. That is when you can make the most difference.

Way back in the day Rush called it "Operation Chaos" when he tried to get Repubs to cross over and vote for Hillary against Obama in the primaries hoping for chaos at the DNC Convention

Yikes.

Never seen this before.
you missed Reagan?

This was before Dobbs, btw.

"The broad migration of more than 1 million voters, a small portion of the overall U.S. electorate, does not ensure widespread Republican success in the November midterm elections, which will determine control of Congress and dozens of governorships.

"Democrats are hoping the Supreme Court's decision on Friday to overrule Roe v. Wade will energize supporters, particularly in the suburbs, ahead of the midterms."

Imho, we should never forget how many eligible voters never cast a ballot in this country. Trump v Biden turnout was around 70%

What changes if 90% of voters are inspired to participate someday?

630,000 switched from republican to democrats,

So the repubs are ahead by 400k in 43 states.....which doesn't look good for democrats the past 18 months....

But this can change....

One, how many switched over to vote in the opposition's primary, and two.... how many will switch to dems after this SC Roe/ Dobbs decision?

1 million....interesting.

I just read an article that would have you believe, According to NPR, that, in the last 24 hours since the release of the USSC decision, Democrats have suddenly taken a 7 point lead over the GOP on heneric midterm balloting.

More than one million U.S. voters have switched their party affiliation to the GOP over the past 12 months, painting a grim picture for Democrats in the 2022 midterms.

Roughly 1.7 million Americans have changed their party affiliation over the past 12 months. Two thirds of those have gone to the GOP, while just 630,000 have switched to the Democratic Party.

Suck it up libs, the end is near.

More than 1 million voters switch registration to GOP as suburbs break from Biden

Voters don't have to switch parties to vote for the opposition party in a general election.

Be careful with that statitistic.

In some cases, voters are switching parties to take out a conservative candidate in favor of a more liberal Republican.

Yeah, they helped get Obama nominated. Then bitched & moaned when he went on to beat McCain.

That is so they can vote against Trump and the Trumpettes this election season.

To win back voters, Democrats should double-down, nay tripple-down on socialism, veganism, and obsessing over pronouns.
I always thought that issues like cutting off the petroleum industry were a great stifle moment for the Dems.

That wouldn't be surprising. Doesn't matter though as polls this far out from an election will very likely not match what happens on election day.

MOre likely too

"Also, if you live in a blue area, when people say ‘go vote,’ that should include primary elections too," she told her followers. "Because, the thing that a lot of people don't like to talk about, is the fact that not every Democrat is pro-choice. Okay? So, the ones that aren't, we really need to reassess if it's appropriate for them to continue to serve in 2022 because people should have the right to control their own body. This is pretty basic.""

The list begins with oxygen and the number two is sunshine without those two your list would not exist. What one does to their own body is their own business.

And not be able to vote for their preferred Dem. candidate?
Unless their candidate is an obvious shoo-in, I don't think even a dem. would be that stupid.

So people who wanted to sit out Trump are returning. This has bigger implications for the MAGA cult being shoved to the margins than it does for the DNC.
