No nation during Christ's time had the ability to wipe out all life from the earth.
There was no weapon that could instantly dissolve the flesh off the bone while standing and disolve the eyes in their sockets and the tongue in the mouth.
Was Israel born in a day, in Jesus' time?
Did they plant one billion trees during Christ's time?
Did the Jews revert to their original language During the Roman occupation?
Did they rebuild Jerusalem back in the day?
When did Russia, Libya, Iran, the Sudan attack Israel in Jesus' time? Who won?
Multitudes weren't running to and fro around the earth.
There was no peace treaty given to Israel.

It is sort of cute how you pretend there is one universally accepted view of the end time prophesy.

There are at least 3 major views on the end time prophesy and a couple more less accepted one.

People in the early church, before the 100AD were making predictions they were in the end times, and it has been happening ever since. Every generation has people like you that think they are in the end times, and eventually one will be right by accident.
