The unnecessary loss of anyone is tragic, especially a young innocent child such as that one. I can only imagine the grief of her family. The driver should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. However, immigrants are shown to be less likely than citizens to be responsible for such tragedies.

Naw, guy, the only threat to your American way of life is rich people making you work for less.

I'm all for laws. Sensible laws. Our current immigration laws aren't sensible, which is why so many people break them.

Let's go back to what the underlying cause of illegal immigration is. We have a need for unskilled labor for jobs Americans just don't want to do. Period. Most Americans don't want to wash dishes, or pick lettuce, or clean toilets. But those jobs need to get done.
