I didn't agree with many of his policy positions but I respected him for his service and his willingness to reach across the party aisle to get things done. I appreciated his sense of humor and his maverick spirit. And I'm thankful that he did the right thing on Healthcare. When I heard the hollow words of praise from the Russian toady in the Whitehouse, I wanted to gag. I think Trump gagged a little too on his forced eulogy. It was bizarre and sickening.

Don't be so sure. McCain was a treacherous, treasonous, tempestuous, hazardous, butthurt punk who attacked our democracy, attacked everyone who voted for President Trump and sought to spark a coup d'etat by beginning with the Hamburger Hill Mueller Witch Hunt! There are still a lot of other anti-American, Deep State swamp rats on the loose!

I admired McCain. He clearly had bravery and love of country up the you-know-what. Though I disagreed with many of his political ideas.

But having said that - I would far, far, far, FAR RATHER Trump had died instead of McCain.
