I can't help but be surprised that those who ceaselessly criticised the war are now criticising a peace deal. It shows to go you this is not about war and peace, but the enduring and irrational hatred of Donald J Trump and everything he achieves regardless of the benefit to the United States and indeed the world.

He leaves an now-impotent country in absolute shambles and their reaction is a total victory for the Islamic state even though it had no option but to beg for a ceasefire and now peace as it invariably bowed down to the man and the countries that humiliated it.

I've supported Trump all along, but he should never have tried to make a peace deal with Islamic religious fanatics. They will never truly abide by any peace treaty in good faith. Religious fanatics, regardless of any religion, would never back off on their beliefs. In this case, it's "Death to America" and "Death to Israel."
If America and Israel didn't exist, they would be chanting Death to India, or Death to Japan, et cetera, et cetera.
A good example was the peace deal between Gaza and Israel in 2005. All Israelis left Gaza and the Gazans were given 420 million dollars for "economic support."
Where did the money really go? To build massive numbers of underground tunnels and fill them with arms and munitions, so that they could eventually attack Israel.
There should be no peace deal with Islam, just bombs, including nukes.
