They are at the same point in the path where they were before we started bombing them....nowhere close to having one. But they're $300B richer.
You are not looking at the effect of the US blockade.
The US blockade denied them oil revenue of about $75b.
The damage of the US bombing to Iran was several hundred $billion.
Iran is not "richer", Iran is devastated.

We are not at the same point, Iran's military is destroyed, and Iran's nuclear weapons program is prohibited by military force.

And trump didnt get it

Which makes trump haters and china flunky’s VERY happy

Right?

Oh, I'm always happy to see Trump fail miserably.

Of course, it wasn't just China. THE WHOLE WORLD told him this was a terrible idea.

Of course you would prefer muslims or the PLA

I would prefer if we minded our own business. Part of this agreement to get the oil flowing again is to start up a 300 BILLION dollar fund to repair all the damage we did to Iran. On top of the 90 billion we spent on the war.

Meanwhile, in America, we have underfunded schools, crumbling roads, kids going to bed hungry at night.

Wrong. The JCPOA was time limited. Iran enriched uranium and developed ICBMs for a reason.

Yes, to defend themselves against other countries.

IRan has never invaded another country since the Islamic Republic was proclaimed. She has been attacked by Israel, Iraq, and the US.

The war ended Iran's nuclear weapons program by military force.

But hold on, didn't Orange Julius Caesar say he ended their program last July when he bombed them?
And if the program is "ended", then why is discussing it part of the MOU?

You guys are talking out of both sides of your mouths.

I do know what the blockade costs us...higher gas prices and higher inflation.

Nonsense. Neither Israel nor the US ever invaded Iran. Iran is the militaristic threat to the region, to say Iran needs nukes to defend itself is ridiculous. The US attacked Iran because it was developing nukes. If it was just another peaceful Gulf state it would not need to worry.

Operation Midnight Hammer destroyed their centrifuges, but the enriched nuclear dust is still there, buried under a mountain.
Iran is trying to dig out that enriched uranium dust to continue their nuclear weapons program.

The US attacked Iran because the Israelis pull the strings in our politics.

It should be pointed out that when Saddam invaded Iran, he did so with the full support of the US. We even turned a blind eye when he almost sank the USS Stark. We sold him weapons and gave him intel.

I agree Iran is a "Threat" to a region ruled by corrupt monarchies that claim to be Muslim, but fly off to Europe to screw whores and drink booze.

Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia!

Why is looking out for our own interests a bad thing?

This constant need for self destruction from the Western left is pathetic.

Well, when our interests comes at the expense of other people, it is kind of a problem.

Imagine if the roles were reversed and another country, let's say China, simply bullied us to get our natural resources. I think we'd be upset about that and rightfully so.

Yes, since 2003 according to AI, why else would you enrich uranium and develop ICBMs?
Less stupidity would have been shown by making no reply at all. But that particular American stupidity is why American stupidity is now being made a mockery of by Iran.

Because a headless chicken pursuit of your lobbied interests is ******* up the world for everyone not in the USA.

Tell me, what do you consider the West to be? Seems to me it means the USA, when used by Americans who want to pretend Europe is with them.

I mean, would you say the West started a war with Iran?

I think of the West more as Western Europe. Which is disassociating from the US as fast as it can.

Clearly this is a humiliating defeat for the Trump administration. Details are still emerging but from multiple sources this is what is being leaded thus far:

First of all; there is a deal (NY Times):

“The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete,” President Trump said in a post on social media. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council said in a statement that the country had finalized a memorandum of understanding with the United States after “months of long and difficult negotiations.”

The stated reason for going in and starting the 3 week war that lasted more than 3 months was their nuclear program. To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Trump backed off having that issue resolved and is going to be supposedly resolved separately:

Al Jazeera says we're coughing up $24B to return to the status quo we had back in February....

And Israel was not consulted and wasn't a signatory of the deal either.

I'm sure they'll be spinning this as a victory which of course is humorous at best and sad at worst. We went from "unconditional surrender" to coughing up $24B and no resolution to the nuke program. Its a massive loss for the Trump administration.

So who's head is going to roll for this? I think it's Wyles if that is how to spell her name.

Um, no. If our interests come at the expense of cartels, communists and jihadists, it's a solution, not a problem.

They can try, and they do try, and it's our governments job to fight against it.

Western Europe is trying to leave the whole concept of Western Civ, not the US.

Eastern Europe has lived under tyranny in living memory, they are far better allies.

Nope, Iran started a cold/warm war with the West in 1979.
