Massive Failure in Iran

Your point was that you prefer covert actions to warfare, but you are unable to provide examples of covert action that is not part of a larger military operation bringing about important changes: hence the observation of your lack of intelligence. Apparently even your own posts are beyond your understanding.
Obviously the link was too complex for you to understand. No worries. I'm confident all intelligent, educated and rational adults understand it.

Have a nice day. :)

NYT reports are for missile "sites" not "launchers". Their missiles get shot down, so don't sound so optimistic for Iran's chances.

New US intelligence assessments say Iran retains significant missile capabilities and currently has operational access to 30 of its 33 missile sites along the Strait of Hormuz, according to a report published by The New York Times.
While missiles are obviously a clear and present danger, drone swarms are a bigger danger due to their lower cost and ability to overwhelm defense systems in numbers.

The Pentagon has confirmed that an Iranian ballistic missile successfully struck Al Udeid Airbase in Qatar during an attack on June 23, contrasting with defence officials prior praise for the success of U.S. Army and Qatari Air Force MIM-104 Patriot air defence systems in protecting the facility. “One Iranian ballistic missile impacted Al Udeid Airbase June 23 while the remainder of the missiles were intercepted by U.S. and Qatari air defence systems,” Pentagon chief spokesman Sean Parnell stated, although Iran’s provision of early warning of the attack ensured there were no casualties. Satellite footage appears to show the destruction of a radome that housing the modernisation enterprise terminal communications suite, which has a value of approximately $15 million. The primary cost of the attack, however, is from the launch of close to two dozen Patriot interceptors to target the incoming missiles, as this interceptors cost approximately $4 million each.

This suggests that Iran retains plenty of ammunition to hit its neighboring countries. Notably, The Jerusalem Post previously reported that Iran retains a maximum of 1,000 missiles that are capable of reaching Israel.

Iran hasn't had a drone swarm in a while. Drones are easily shot down.

June 23rd? Air defenses are much better now than they were on June 23rd.

Nothing hits Israel because of their "Iron Dome". Well its a rarity...mostly falling debris...

What we all understand is you said something indefensible and can't think of a way to get out of it.

The fact you don't understand the value of the CIA and allied intelligence agencies is why you believe war is the best option.
Now you're trying to change subjects again. You claimed covert action could accomplish the same thing as a larger military action, proclaiming you preferred d tetia optimi to war as if they could accomplish the same things.

You're free to lie about my post. It's pretty common for worshipers of the Orange Jesus to lie as much as he does.

The point that flies over your head that that it's better that the Iranians fight each other, with help from the CIA, than for Americans to die fighting the Iranians.
Mass murder and war crimes is not the best way to win this.

Tertia Optio was working but Trump needed another Epstein Distraction so he attacked Iran contrary to the advice of our intelligence and military leaders.

Again, you claimed covert action was an alternative to war, and there is no basis in fact or logic for such a statement.

Lather, Rinse, Repeat. Even when I repeat the quote, you cannot understand. No worries.
Again, I'm certain others understand exactly what I'm talking about.

Trump made a big deal about the Iranians murdering over 30,000 of their own citizens. I'm certain rational people can see that dividing the Iranians against themselves is better than uniting them by bombing their schools, water and power plants, and other civilian infrastructure.

No matter how you try to spin it, saying that covert action can accomplish the same things larger military operations can is just stupid, and trying to cover up one lie with another does not improve your credibility.

I never said that and now you are committing one of the most egregious sins a person can do on a forum: you're boring and, in my estimation, have mental issues.

Of course you said it. You said covert action was working so there was no need for the war. A brain dead stupid thing to say, but you said it.

Ok good. We sell Saudi Arabia weapons. Saudi Arabia should attack Iran. This is an attack from one nation to another. If SA feels Iran did it, then SA should bomb the shit out of them. Had this happened to Israel they would be defending themselves. But SA looks to others to defend their nation for them.

Iran didn't attack us and didn't kill an American. Stay the **** out of this shit.
Such a war would send the price of oil skyrocketing and send the global economy into recession, and this condition would be long lasting. Only the US can prevent this from happening.
I❤️Irony

Looks like your prediction of a global recession is going to come true.

March 6:

President Trump declared on Friday that he would settle for nothing short of “unconditional surrender” by Iran, the latest and broadest expansion of his goals for the conflict, and one that could portend a much longer war if he persists in that aim.

May 1 (less than 60 days later):

May 1: Mr. Trump rejected Iran’s latest proposal to end the war. “They want to make a deal, but I’m not satisfied with it,” he told reporters at the White House. On the same day, the president sent letters to Congress saying that hostilities with Iran “have terminated.”

We went from demanding an unconditional surrender of Iran to essentially surrendering ourselves.

Does anyone have any idea what we accomplished outside of Americans paying more for gas?
Killed the Ayatollah and his Boys. Smashed their REAL Navy--Maybe you don't get it--The DEAL trump is wanting IS Surrender-

Wow! A post of mine from 2019, doing deep research on me? Of course your poor reading skills still leave you in the dark. I was arguing in favor of the US intervening in this conflict and because we have, the oil shortage is temporary and there will be no global recession.

Iran is the world's #1 terrorist-supporting nation. They are experts in asymmetrical warfare. Clamoring about sinking their "REAL Navy" means nothing since the Strait is still closed. Results count.

Iran won't surrender. They're a dictatorial theocracy. Trump's war will continue well into next year unless Trump is the one doing the surrendering.

Like Trump trying to throw Ukraine under the bus for Putin, I have no doubt he'll do the same to Taiwan if it means gaining China's support on having Iran back off shooting drones and missiles at tankers in the Strait. Trump will call it the best deal ever and declare victory.

Sorry to have hurt your feelings by throwing your own words back in your face. Again, it's more for the benefit of others than you. :)

I'll be happy to revisit this next year. :D

Will Trump throw Taiwan under the bus to achieve "victory" in the Strait? Do you support that idea? 🤔

There's speculation that the main reason so many business leaders accompanied Trump to China is precisely to prevent him from handing Taiwan over to Xi. Most of them are smart enough to both know their bottom line and to see what happened in Hong Kong when the Brits gave it to China.

You haven't hurt my feelings but I must have hurt yours pretty badly to have set you off on a search through my old posts to try to find something to use against me. Of course, if you had been able to understand the post you like so well, you would have understood that then as now I was arguing that the US should intervene between the ayatollahs and the Saudis.

As for Trump visiting Xi, yesterday Xi agreed with Trump that the ayatollahs must open the Strait and hours later Fars announced that 30 ships had just traveled through the Strait unmolested.

The businessmen are there to remind Xi how lucrative good relations with the US could be.

No worries. I'm a big fan of Sun Tzu.

Time will tell.

Those businessmen are also there to remind Trump how lucrative relations with Taiwan are. :)
