Margarine or Butter?

What do you take?

Amazing that no one gave the right answer taught me by a chef I used to know:

MARGARINE: Intended for putting on food for a low-cal butter-like taste. OK in moderation and if you can find a brand that you like.

BUTTER: Butter is for COOKING. You do NOT cook with margarine. If you want to eat and use butter in lieu of margarine, you can do that too if you want, just watch the fat, calories and cholesterol.
 
Indeed, twice more than the fake butter that is labeled butter, but isn't actually butter.

Why shouldn't be? Butter is something cultured over time with love and care as part of a culinary art.

Margarine is essentially, homogenized, edible plastic.
