What do you take?

Watch out now. The last person ever lynched in the dairy state of Wisconsin also started a thread on this subject.

It's a Class A First Degree felony here to compare margarine to butter. And we have a lot of trees and hemp to make rope.

No no no no no. You couldn't pay me enough to eat any type of dairy. 😝
Because you're vegan. What about that Ayurvedic ghee? They make it from the milk of cows that are pampered their entire life. The people literally worship the cows. Even cow shit is holy to them.

I know I’m in the minority, but I can’t really taste the difference.

I pretty much always just buy I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter. Tastes fine, cheap and spreads easy

I still wouldn't want it, one of the reasons being that they probably still permanently take the baby calves away from their mamas, which is standard practice in virtually all dairy businesses worldwide. And I don't know about India but everywhere else the male calves are either sold off to become veal or beef, or, shockingly, shot and killed a few days after being born (as if they were garbage) because of course the males won't ever produce milk so they're considered useless to the dairy industry.

And that's just a fraction of the many evil and abusive things that go on in the dairy industry.

But anyway, if they really do practice Ahimsa there, then that's good.

There is no way that I am going to eat margarine. That does not mean I go all out on butter. I do enjoy it but in small amounts. Just thinking about large amounts makes my stomach quite shaky.

Butter.

Anything I would even think of using margarine for I would use olive oil instead.

Margarine is more like a liquid oil when used for cooking, and an inferior one at that.

I use butter but I prefer beef tallow. Its a bit more expensive but its worth it.

😕😎😇

far more to do with genetics than butter.

plus being a runner for most of my life helps keeps the pipes clean
Running won't prevent coronary artery disease, good digestion will.

And speaking of grass fed, l was surprised to read that the US imports this beef from far flung countries, when surely it has enough pasture land of its own.
We've plowed up our grasslands to plant corn for ethanol. We import lean beef for making ground beef.

You haven't tasted real butter until you've tasted organic butter. Expensive but, wow!
