Many are saying the Chiefs dynasty is done .. I disagree !

They played a PERFECT game against Detroit on Monday. You should have heard all the people on Facebook claiming the refs cheated for KC. I said "I'm a Lions fan and I didn't get any sense that the refs cheated. The Chiefs just played a perfect game. And Detroit made a few mistakes.
We all know the Chiefs are capable. We are all just hoping their run has come to an end. It's like the Golden State Warriors in Basketball. We thought they were done after 3 but then they won a 4th.
Here is an example of what I was seeing on facebook. I'm a Lions fan and I didn't get one hint that the refs were cheating us. Are you just butt hurt from the loss? Get over it. It happens.

I could understand people HOPING their dynasty has come to an end .. but they are celebrating to early .. even if they don't do well this year ,head coach Andy Read ,and defensive couch Spagnoulo are the best in the business .. add that to the talent of the young developing players they have they will be a formidable team for years to come ..

A lot of people like to see success kinda spread around a little. Let somebody else win the SB that hasn't done so before. I can see where Chief fans don't like that, but screw 'em. They had their fun.

i could not have said it better myself. Like it got tiresome seeing the Bills in the superbowl for FOUR straight years, wanted to see somebody else in the mix for a change so i was elated when they finally did not make it back for a 5th.

yeah I gotta admit I jumped the gun there writing them off saying this season is down the drain for them,saying they would be lucky if they made it to the playoffs as a wild card this year after the jacksonville lost.
Like the majority of the country,I thought this game was an automatic win for the Lions before the game began after that jacksonville game,In that jacksonville game,Mahomes did not even look like an NFL quarterback.that interception he threw that got ran back for a touchdown is something you only see in HIGH SCHOOL. horrible read,so unMahomes like.
Incredible the 180 degree turnaround they had from last week. They had help from the refs no doubt as others have pointed out,you dont go from 13 penaltys one week then ZERO the next,that doesnt happen no matter how good a coach you have. a handful or so but NOT zero.
However their offense was clicking against a GOOD team,you cant take that away from them.I said they had to beat a good team and their offense had to score over 30 points before they convinced me their dynasty was not over and they did just that. They went out and not only beat a GOOD team and scored 30 points,,but they beat a team everybody was calling the BEST team in the NFL no less.
they must have been looking ahead to the game against the Lions and overlooked the Jags because they looked MUCH better prepared than last week,Like you said,the Chiefs have caught on fire now recently and their offense reminded me of the OLD chiefs Offense that scored touchdown after touchdown and averaged 30 points a game. I said I did not care if they lost,that if they went out and put up 30 points against the LIONS,they are back on track again and sure enough they are because they indeed did JUST THAT.
Chiefs haters indeed need to face reality that the Chiefs are STILL the team to beat. I thought it was the Bills year this year but look at them,all of a sudden they dont look so great anymore.
I thought this would be the chargers breakout year after beating the chiefs and win the division but how do you go and lose to the GIANTS of all people? and also gave up over 30 points to the dolphins no less barely beating them?
Then there is the Broncos,they looked like THEY would be the division champs after beating the Eagles but what do they do? they go out and BARELY beat the Jets the WORST team in the NFL by just a field goal like 13 to 10 so they all of a sudden just like the Bills dont look so good right now either.
Until someone knocks off the chiefs from their thrown,they are still the team to beat.

I am not a chiefs hater nor am I chiefs fan,never was other than when Montana was there. But the chiefs are the ONLY team I ever watch because in a day and age when the NFL is a corrupt cartel,if it was not for Mahomes I would not watch ANY NFL football AT ALL!!!! I dont even watch my Rams anymore,at least havent sense they won the superbowl.
Mahomes is the ONLY reason i watch the NFL and the only reason i started watching the chiefs is because he is the most exciting quarterback to come along sense John Elway.
I did not watch the Lions game because I figured they would stink it up again,their offense was playing like the days in the 80's when they had bill kenney and todd blackledge and were the kansas city CLOWNS on offense.
Mahomes looked like that when he threw that interception but he looks like he is back to the OLD Mahomes again that got me excited about watching NFL football again and that indeed is bad news for chiefs haters.LOL
It was the DEFENSE that carried them the past two years but NOW it looks like the old chiefs OFFENSE is back again,the one that would average 30 points a game each week until the last two years. the offense that got me excited about the NFL and made me want to watch it again.
after a 2 year absense,looks like the chiefs scoring machine offense is BACK again.that is bad news for the rest of the league indeed. Like you said so well,looks like it just took them a while to jell together,I think you're right.

the rest of the NFL in the AFC fears the chiefs right now,they were hoping they would miss the playoffs because if the chiefs get to the playoffs,the rest of the league is in trouble because what happens in the regular season you can throw out the window,they are dangerous once the playoffs start,they are a much different animal.you can throw out everything that happened in the regular season,they turn it up a notch once the playoffs start.

I agree .. as of now I believe they are the most dangerous team .. but the season is young and unfortunately injuries happen .. if the Chiefs stay healthy they may very well be in and win the SB .. AGAIN !very good points. well said.

Travis is retiring. Mahomes is getting older. But look at Aaron Rogers. 4 and 1. 11 years older than Patrick. One things for sure he will never catch Brady. Remember, there are a lot of other teams out there. It's amazing the Chiefs won as many times as they have.
I hate it that some teams can keep it together for so long but the Lions can't seem to keep a solid team together for more than a couple years. Like last year felt like our year and now the window is closing. We still look good but looked better last year. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are competitive every year.
If you believe in the multi verse, apparently there is another universe where the Detroit Lion's have won 7 out of 10 Superbowls and the Patriots have never won. I'd love to visit that universe. LOL.

Kelce may be getting ready to retire but the Chiefs still have many potent up and coming young weapons .. and Mahomes just turned 30 .. that's right 30 ! he's got yrs left if he stays healthy ! and the Lions are still a formidable team .. the Chiefs just started clicking when they played them ..
