Man check out how fast this cop can reload

You want to know if I would have shot at that moment? No. Not unless I saw the suspect attacking the woman with a knife. I am a private citizen, not a cop. And I would be charged with risking her life, as she was in the line of fire. He was on top of her.

I would have moved to my left before engaging, to reduce the odds of the victim being shot. Although that is said with minimal view from the video.

What is interesting to me is this. You guys are dumb. If you were half as smart as you think you are you could make a strong case that Ashli Babbitt really was murdered. Or at least raise real questions about the shooting.
So much criticism for the cop….and not a word for the deranged thug about to ruin a woman’s life.

Sure, Babbitt was unnecessarily murdered. That's crystal clear to any normal person with no dog in that political fight.

I think it may not have happened but for what I will call 'Rittenhouse rules'.

I clearly said I can’t see from the video well. I can see the woman move away after the shooting starts. I didn’t see any blood on her.

But bullets tend to pass through people. Exit wounds are very normal.

One of the things that shooters are supposed to consider is what is behind the baddie. An extra second or two might have been the woman’s death. I readily admit that. I can’t see much in the video. But that shooting might have killed her too. And rescuing a woman loses something if she dies from your bullets.

That isn’t the point. And this thread is not a bad place to consider the point. Let me ask you this. How many rounds did this cop fire and why?

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

The cop saved the woman from the thug who was about to destroy her life.

I have no idea how many, other than more than was necessary. None in my opinion.
Why? I have a more definitive opinion on that.
Because he wanted to kill and the opportunity arose.

Now the question is, why do Americans want to kill each other with guns?

OH….so the cop who saved a woman from a life-altering experience, courtesy of a criminal thug, is the bad one…..and the lowlife thug gets no mention from you.

Leftists have everything backwards.

.

Leftist Language bastardization.

You answered neither of the questions I asked of you in post #47.

If you're not going have the courage and honesty to answer them, get out of my face now.

He's flying a foreign welfare states flag as his Avi. Don't expect anything patriotic, or substantive from this clown. In his world, she deserved to get raped...

You’re welcome. I decided not to go into a full blow by blow breakdown of what he did wrong as I didn’t want to focus too much on the bad.
Well I know that there are many who would say that the officer should have given the perp the opportunity to drop the knife and surrender. However it could have gone the other way.

The perp could have taken the woman hostage with that opportunity....I say do not give him that opportunity. He surrendered his rights when he used the blade to gain compliance. End of story.

There's no empathy or social justice angle or sob story about life in the ghetto or influence of white supremacy or any of that other happy horseshit.

The first few bullets got his attention but he continued to grasp the blade. In my view each time he grasped the blade the officer saw aggression needing to be met with aggression.

I don't know about the exact mechanics of how he handled his weapon but I believe the results of the confrontation were right and proper.

The thug gave up his rights when he used the blade to gain compliance from his victim.

Looked like another case of deliberate and careless murder to me.

Rittenhouse rules or an attempt to move on to 'Chauvin' rules.

I know that must sound like far out socialism from a nanny state but really you people! You have to move on from the attitude of wanting to kill each other.
If'n ya dowanna be eating lead and asphalt then......DON' DO DAT SHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

One little problem. I don’t see a rape. I see him lay down on the woman as the cop jumps out of the car. But his pants are up and closed and she’s wearing what appears to be intact underwear, or shorts.

As he moves off, he has his pants up and closed.

So where did the report of a rape come from?
Rape is a subjective term. Just ask E Jean Carrol. Forced contact can be construed to be rape in the legal sense. However I have to admit that I had the same question you do about the video and yes I noticed that no skin was exposed on either person.

Half the people in your country are idiots according to you reb.

You're one of the best examples of the problem. You not only yearn to kill somebody with your gun, you also want to make a point that you can't stand your civil war loss and the freeing of slaves. You have a lot of Americans sympathizing with you.
I guaranteed that poster your quoting would sit down and have a dinner with a black man.

Jews and blacks owned slaves just like white people did. Plenty of great men fell on both sides of the US Civil War.
