I just checked my scwab account and I am well over 1.2 million now

Still hope to land an X ray tech job at $27 an hour

I guess I can squeeze by on my vanguard, T Roe and fidelity funds

Congratulations!!!!

Regardless of how old you are....you are way ahead of the average person who has NOT SAVED much towards retirement.

According to the Federal Reserve's 2022 Survey of Consumer Finances, the mean retirement savings for Americans aged 55–64 is $537,560, but the median — the more representative figure — is $185,000. High-wealth households pull the mean significantly above where most Americans actually stand.

That means 1/2 of people are going to retire on something much lower than 1/2 million. And that's not a lot.

A million is probably the least you can get by depending on your SS draw.

its good to work because when your not working, you Spend twice as much money.
You will actually be making more than that 27 per hour... but it might raise your tax bracket
