90% of the Federal government should be defense, and defense should be far smaller than it is now. Instead of readiness for two foreign wars, we should be ready for only defense. And we should ultimately close all bases on foreign property. Our defense should be in the US and on the seas, period.

There is a need for International relations and interstate coordination, that would be the rest of the Federal government
