This is similar to IF George Harrison was a good guitar player - which he WAS NOT - then WHY did he have to have Eric Clapton playing all the main guitar solos while George did like 4 cords or whatever?

With 1950s things I generally base most things on four things: Buddy Holly, Genius, The Johnny Burnette Rock 'n' Roll Trio and Link Wray and His Raymen (sometimes and The Wraymen) and my INTENSE HATE of Doo-Wop. I am able to enjoy Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis as both were insane and dangerous.

I should get one of my Grandfather's friends Richard Weize to join the forum, his knowledge is MEGA, he started Bear Family Records in 1974 and they specialise in Box Sets and I mean HUGE Box Sets each with like a 120 page hard back book included, they have issued literally thousands of these since 1974. Bear Family also do single LPs, double LPs, double CDs, quadruple CDs etc Richard has won GRAMMY'S for the things he's released.
