Sooooo...what has Trump been charged with? :dunno:

Anybody??? Anybody??? Bueller?

The fact is...nobody knows. I don't know...you don't know...Trump doesn't know...the judge doesn't even know.

DA Alvin Bragg (AKA: Limp Richard) claims that Trump falsified 34 business records in order to hide some monstrous super crime.

And then he never included what that monstrous super crime was :auiqs.jpg:

Has IM2 been moonlighting as the NY DA? :laughing0301:

I would challenge any Democrat on here to answer this:

All 34 counts allege an attempt to defraud. Defraud who, exactly? Who is/are the victim(s)?

The defendant DONALD J. TRUMP repeatedly and fraudulently falsified NewYork business records to conceal criminal conduct that hid damaging information from the voting public during the 2016 presidential election.

From August 2015 to December 2017, the Defendant orchestrated a scheme with others to influence the 2016 presidential election by identifying and purchasing negative information about him to suppress its publication and benefit the Defendant’s electoral prospects. In order to execute the unlawful scheme, the participants violated election laws and made and caused false entries in the business records of various entities in New York. The participants also took steps that mischaracterized, for tax purposes, the true nature of the payments made in furtherance of the scheme.

Is there a law against that? Can you provide a statute number? Hasn't every politician in all of history done that?

So they are charging him with a non-crime? Just like offering stormy cash to sign a NDA (hush money as you call it).

If that was actually a crime...can you imagine how many people would be going to prison over hunters laptop?

That is not a crime, but falsifying business records to cover it up IS a crime, and using those falsified business records in a tax filing IS a crime. It is never about the action, it is always about the cover-up.

Nice try...didn't thunk I would click on it huh?

Any two or more persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means and which conspiracy is acted upon by one or more of the parties thereto, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

Do you think you have discovered something? Here, look at the charge again,

§ 175.10 Falsifying business records in the first degree. A person is guilty of falsifying business records in the first degree when he commits the crime of falsifying business records in the second degree, and when his intent to defraud includes an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof.

Does it say the other crime has to be a felony? NO

Just accept your loss and hang your head in shame.
Let's try it this way. You are not running for president. In fact, you are not involved in politics in any way. But, you do own a business, and you file a tax return with the federal government and the state of New York. And you have a hot wife. But you messed up, you had an affair with a porn star, or hell, maybe you didn't, but this porn star is claiming you did. So to keep her mouth shut you pay her 130 grand, and worse, a doorman is claiming you had a child out of wedlock and a Playboy centerfold is claiming you had an affair with her. You pay them money too. I mean all that is fine and dandy and completely legal. But hell, not like you could write the check out of your personal bank account, so you run it through your business, you claim it is payment of "legal services", and you write it off of your taxes. You done screwed up.

THAT is where this case will hinge and THAT is where Trump is guilty.

Was he charged with that?

I seem to have missed that part in the indictment.
