I would certainly be an incentive to forego having children you cannot afford.
When in your life do you expect to be poor, loose your health or your lively hood? If life came with a crystal ball then life would be easier to prognosticate.
"Theres another place if none of these options work to find food; theres always the neighborhood dumpster.
