Life long democrat & feminist tells democrats to pull their heads out of their rears

I hope her prediction of women fleeing the corrupt & immoral democrat party proves to be accurate

Grumps got one right.

Here was my contribution:

"That being said, the DNC is tone-deaf in more ways than one when it comes to joe lunchbucket. Two things come to mind.

I was listening to Wait Wait Don't Tell Me a few years back. For those of you who don't know, it is a game show on NPR where they have listeners call in and play games on the air. One of the games is called "bluff the listener" where their 3 panelists tell a story from this week's news...but only one of the three stories is true. If the listener picks the right story, they get a prize. The topic was "Interesting vacation offerings for those on a budget". So the host reads the following on the air--paraphrasing: "As most of you know, you can't have a very good vacation on $4,000. Each of our panelists is going to tell you a story, pick the right one and you'll win a prize." Uhh excuse me? Four grand gets you first class tickets to Rome or a suite on a very nice cruise ship. I think for most Americans, $4K is well over their vacation budget and here this guy is--playfully mind you--saying you can't possibly have a good time on $4K? Tone deaf.

At about the same time back then, another show I listened to--a news podcast--has these three commentators. The show's format is that they discuss 3 topics. Usually from the current events but every now and then they go big picture. Once the 3 topics is finished, they have a round called "cocktail chatter" where they discuss tidbits that they would bring up at a cocktail party that weekend. The other two commentators can glom onto the topic or just ignore it or anything in between. The host brought up the fire at Notre Dame and these three commentators (I think you could call them all left or center-left safely) sat around and whined about losing this cathedral for a good 15 minutes citing the "many times" they were over there viewing it. Again, I don't know about you guys but Notre Dame catching fire made me sad but it didn't exactly rock my world. I wish it hadn't burned of course but did this really shake the timbers of someone's life so much that it warranted this sort of attention? Liberals living paycheck to paycheck or in that range probably did what I did...they just looked at their phone and thought, "really"?

You still here?

The only way democrats are going to attract working class voters is to stop being themselves.
Not going to happen.

They have sold their souls to progressive vampires. Now the life blood of the party is being drained away
by trans activists, racists, anti capitalists, etc.
That would require that we operate under a different economic theory. Economic neoliberalism left workers behind since it was introduced by Ronald Reagan. Voodoo economics, trickle down has failed workers and created the 1% and a near total corporate state.
This is not progressives vs conservatives. Trump promised to dial neoliberalism up a notch and Musk says , yeah that's gonna cause hardship but that's the only way. A last big heist for corporations and billionaires and then we finally get a new Golden Age.

There is a vast, slow sea change going on right now in which the Republicans are becoming the party of the average guy. Their message is resonating with the average voter who struggles daily to provide for their families and largely just want to be left alone with a fair shot at success. The democrats have been embracing the wealthy, weird activists with more money and free time than common sense. Example, complaining that we need to stop all plastics while carrying a $1200 iPhone made out of the stuff and wearing a $1000 outfit loaded with it.

This is not a triumphal rubbing anything in anyone's face, it's just an observation.
