$22 Million: Minimum total cost to the taxpayers of congressional investigations into Benghazi.

10: Number of congressional committees that have participated in Benghazi investigations.

33: Number of congressional hearings, public or private, held on the Benghazi tragedy according to publicly available hearing transcripts, congressional reports, and committee websites and fact sheets.

1335: Number of days since the beginning of the ongoing investigations into the tragedy in Benghazi, and there is no end yet in sight. [As of 5/8/16]

AND ON, AND ON, IT GOES

4 Americans needlessly died due to incompetence, inaction, and politically motivated refusal to act. The investigations uncovered:
- The Administration KNEW there was a call for Middle East-wide attacks on US installations and yet they still were woefully unprepared: 22 US Embassies were attacked, 2 were completely overrun, and 4 Americans needlessly died.

- Despite knowing and the other nations with personnel in Benghazi removing their people from harm's way, Hillary / the State Department refused to order him out, instead blaming their employee for not making that decision. (Leaders lead and take care of their people - FAIL)

- The Administration was warned well in advance that an Al Qaeida senior member had called for the assassination of Ambassador Stevens for the death of an Al Qaeida leader as a result of a US drone strike the month earlier - the administration / State dept did nothing (except deny additional security and strip members of Ambassador's security detail from his staff)

- Hillary's own e-mails revealed Stephens begged for additional security HUNDREDS of times yet was denied every time - during her questioning she laughed about it and said she thought the hundreds of requests were part of a 'joke' - part of Stephens' 'sense of humor'

- Hillary's own e-mails also revealed she not only denied additional security but also stripped Stephenson, despite the threats, of 14 members of his security detail...after 2 previous terrorist attacks in the weeks leading up to the attack on 9/11/01 that resulted n his death. (WHY did they not pull him out, as the other nations had done with their people, after these 2 attacks? why did they deny him extra security after these attacks? Stephens warned he would die if a 3rd attack happened and he did not have additional security! Why did they take away security after these 2 attacks?)

- Hillary's own e-mails show she KNEW it was a terrorist attack almost immediately. An Ambassador from Tripoli testified that he reported directly to Hillary within an hour of the attack declaring it was a terrorist attack. Her own e-mails show she knew, that she told a foreign Ambassador 'we KNOW the video had nothing to do with it, and it was a terrorist attack'. They show she told her daughter the same thing before lying to the American people.

- It was proven that the CIA's report sent directly to the WH War Room and State Department (within the 1st 2 hours of the attack) calling it a terrorist attack was modified 13 times - stripping it of every reference to 'terrorism' - before releasing it to the public.

This is just a small part of what came out of the investigations, and all of this is what Liberals call 'nothing' that resulted from the investigations.

It has taken too long? Within the LAST SEVERAL MONTHS the State Department was forced to admit they had not turned over all documents related to Benghazi, AND files that had been subpoenaed by the committees were HIDDEN in another office in the State Department AFTER they had been subpoenaed. It has been found that Hillary herself hid many documents - and all of these e-mails, some the State department had to admit she never turned over to them. The obstruction of justice and continued cover-up is what has taken so long.

The flagrant, obvious criminal acts that have been undertaken during this whole scandal is shameful and has been part of the proof that this administration is one of the most scandalous in history -- 70% criminal non-compliance with the FOIA! Obama's entire Presidency has been one embroiled in scandal after scandal, dragged out as long as possible, and fraught with criminal acts that went unpunished, like Holder's multiple counts of Perjury while under oath.

You make fun of Benghazi as a political tactic designed to minimize the impact of the scandal, of the incompetence, ineptitude, and intentional acts of deceit perpetrated to save the political careers of two absolutely worthless politicians who let 4 brave Americans needlessly die. AFTER Democrats took over a near super-majority control of Congress another $1.5 trillion was added...in only 2 YEARS! In these last 2 years, as Democrats love to point out, the economy went 'south' under THEIR control. - Set 'monthly', 'annual', and 'total' U.S. deficit-spending records on the way to adding nearly $7 TRILLION in NEW debt over 4 (FOUR) YEARS, nearly DOUBLING that which was credited to Bush. The man's 1st economic bill was the failed nearly $1 Trillion Stimulus bill that contained over 7,000 pieces of self/DNC-serving DNC-Only PORK...that FAILED to do what was promised. It sure handed out the pork to themselves, donors, and friends yet failed to address the crumbling infrastructure, the outdated electrical grid, etc...while stacking the debt and interest onto the backs of our children. In all Obama added more debt than every President from Washington to Clinton COMBINED...but according to Hoyer, head of 1/2 of the The Oversight Congress" ...and libs..."Democrats are the party of fiscal responsibility today".

But back to the Bush 'Witch Hunt'...

Again, what came out of the entire tax payer-funded fishing expedition was nothing more than the arrest and imprisoning of one Scooter Libby. HERE'S THE KICKER: Anyone remember who the prosecuting Attorney General was at the time? NONE OTHER THAN EIRC HOLDER, THE MAN WHO WAS CAUGHT PERPETRATING 3 FELONY COUNTS OF PERJURY WHILE TRYING TO COVER UP OBAMA'S 'FAST AND FURIOUS' SCANDAL.

UNLIKE Libby, Holder had a corrupt President who intervened and made sure Holder was never indicted, arrested, or served any jail time.

That is hardly true. He became an unpopular president towards the end of his second term (he can't be that hated if he can win re-election) but exiled is a pretty strong word and there are plenty of places where he can go without being deported. I can't say the same about the current president.

Obama is well liked around the world. You don't hear a peep from Dubya because he is in exile and his own party disowned him.

As to why he won reelection:

The British have a whole lot of nerve criticizing Americans.

This silly bastards worship totally useless non-entities, known as the Monarchy, whose only merit in life is the hole thru which they entered the world.

My 5 year old can make generalized statements like that without offering anything to back up the hate-filled rhetoric just as well. At least 'Dubya' refused to arm Mexican Drug Cartels, help terrorists take over the government of our allies (like Egypt), did not ALLY himself with the perpetrators of the 9/11/01 attack to help them overthrow a dictator and gain their own country, or help supply / arm / train / protect ISIS, a terrorist group Obama let walk into Iraq, take over much of the territory our military had liberated at great expense, and allowed to continue their genocide against Christians.

After 9/11/01 there were no more successful terrorists attacks on US soil. Obama has allowed more than triple what Bush did:
- Ft. Hood: Obama calls it a case of 'workplace violence' to defend Islamic Extremists

- Boston Marathon Bombing: Obama ignored the warnings, allowed it to happen, then afterwards flashed the terrorists' pictures on TV while asking for citizens to help ID them even though he already knew who they were (trying to make people believe he had not F*ed up and allowed a terrorist attack).

- 2 Americans were killed in a terrorist attack on a Tn military recruiting station...one WITH A GUN OBAMA GAVE MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS

- After mocking Americans' concerns over our national security and their safety - declaring Americans only had 'widows and orphans' to fear - the terrorist to whom Obama gave a visa and welcomed into the country murdered 12 Americans in a terrorist attack in Ca.

After 9/11/01 Bush declared to the American and the families of victims, 'I hear you, American hears you, and the whole world will hear you', vowing to hunt down and punish those responsible. He vowed terrorists would have no safe haven in the world.

Obama went a different path - he helped a terrorist group take over the govt of our ally Egypt, dragged the country to war on his own to help Al Qaeida overthrow a dictator and take over their own country, and helped ISIS to grow and invade Iraq.

After 9/11/12 Obama did not vow retribution. He blamed a video, Hillary called the families of those she allowed to needlessly die 'liars', and Obama gave a speech in front of the whole world at the U.N. in which he declared 'The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam!' I don't know about anyone else, but declaring this to the world in defense / seeming-justification of Islamic Extremists killing 4 Americans while continuing to falsely blame a video is borderline treason to me, betrayal of the Americans who were murdered at the least.

Dubya was a disaster? If he was what you called a 'disaster' before Obama, Obama has since re-written the definition of the word, and his picture is right next to that new definition!

More revisionism. Fact is President Obama pulled us back from the brink of financial disaster in 2009. That fact will go down in History coupled with the fact that he face near fanatical opposition will help cement his place in the top 10 presidents of all time.

Whereas President Bush will fade as his monumental strategically disastrous invasion and occupation of Iraq will leave him in the lower third.

Liberals have repeatedly said the economy went south under Bush his last 2 years. THAT MEANS what they are REALLY ADMITTING is that the near-super majority DNC-controlled Congress oversaw the massive jumpstart of deficit-spending, more debt addition, and the decline in the economy.

FACT:
During Bush's last 2 years in office, approx. $1.5 trillion was added in new deficit-spending-fueled debt, only $1 trillion less than bush had added in a total of 6 years with a GOP-controlled Congress. DEMOCRATS OWN THAT $1.5 Trillion in new debt under Bush, and because they controlled the budget, the spending, and the economy they also own the decline in the economy.

Obama had that same near-super-majority controlled DNC Congress for his 1st 2 years in office. Once in office Obama's 1st fiscal act was to pass the 'Celebratory Frat House' Spending 'orgy' of a bill, the FAILED Stimulus Bill at a mere tax payer-funded cost of nearly $1 trillion in 1 pop / bill.
