I'm sure many of us have met liberals who actually wish the British had won. I've met a few. Why do they wish that? Because England became a socialist country in the late 1940s, because England established a universal health care system in 1948, and because England would have ended slavery in America without a civil war.
If the British had won, America would be much smaller. They weren't as greedy as our Founders.
