Liberals are LYING about Trump’s $2 gas campaign promise

Trump promised gas average at $2 or less and he delivered. AND THEN SOME

The fake news media and their liberal puppets keep crying that Trump “broke his promise” on $2 gasoline. Classic. He didn’t just deliver $2 gas… he gave you TWO rounds of $2 gas. That’s right, $2 plus $2 equals $4, which is exactly what you’re paying at the pump right now. You’re literally getting double the Trump promise every single time you fill up. Do the math, ungrateful sweetheart.

The left just can’t admit when they’ve been out-negotiated. Trump looked America in the eye and said $2, and he meant it so much he did it twice simultaneously, at the same pump, on the same gallon. That’s not a broken promise … that’s a promise kept with a bonus.

Maybe if you spent less time complaining on the internet and more time appreciating that you’re getting 200% of what was advertised, you’d understand what winning feels like. You’re welcome.

With respect, he did promise $2.00 gas and failed.

During Joey's first year (2021) in office the average was $3.09
Donnie's second term, first year, (2025) the average was $3.23

We'll have to wait and see what Benedict's illegal war will do to gas prices later on this year.
ThaT'S CHERRY PICKING, MORON.

The average price of gas under Biden = $3.42.
The average price of gas under Trump = $2.85

Under Biden the daily average price got up to $5.02
The current spike is $4.08 and rising.

The highest weekly average during the Russian invasion was over $5.10. It was over $5 for about 2 weeks.

Obama handed off an economy that was hitting on all cylinders. Trump ended 2020 with his tepid response to Covid and oil price hit a historic low and gas prices fell precipitously.

Benedict was handed an economy that was trying to dig out of the Covid shutdown. Then Russia continue it's aggression in the Ukraine with an attempted full fledged invasion.

Biden Handed Benedict a recovered economy in 2025.

In 2029 we can compare the figures again.

Oil went up on a stroke of a pen with Joe and the Progressive Legislators. This time, whether we like it or not, it is due to the Iranian situation. You interfere with the way of living to the point that people have become dependent on your agendas.

Can we just not admit the obvious. Trump screwed up, bigly, like no one has ever screwed up before, screwed up like the world has never seen.

Right now, we are already over one hundred billion dollars. Not in defense spending, in additional dollars sent to oil and gas companies. One hundred billion dollars that could have been spent on hams for Easter, weekend getaways, new furniture, a new grill and patio furniture for the summer. Hell, baby dolls and bicycles for that matter. Nope, straight to the oil and gas companies.

I mean that hit on top of spiking health insurance premiums. More dollars leaving the consumer household with little to nothing in return. I mean I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that kind of shit has a real impact on the economy, and the impact rolls like a snowball, slow at first but then it builds exponentially as the shock moves through the economy.

We haven't began to feel the impact of higher diesel prices, that shit is rolling down the pipe. And fertilizer, who dropped the ball here. 20% of the world's oil flows through the Straits of Hormuz. Same for phosphate fertilizers. But then there is Helium, 50% of the world's supply flows through the Straits. Ouch.

But what the hell have we gotten here? Where is the win? Iran is now stronger, better positioned, than they were before. They have shown they can control the Straits of Hormuz, like everyone with half a damn brain knew they could anyway. They are called drones, and pirates, and mines. Well hell, there is a positive. This war of choice revealed an embarrassing antiquated inefficient mine sweeping capability, among many other weaknesses.

Admittedly, Trump knows it. I mean it is time to get out, like flipping yesterday. Every day it drags on is only going to make it worse.

Oil was 19.23 in April of 2020. Oil prices stayed flat for a while but when the worlds economies started up again, demand rose and so did the prices. There was no sharp increase in price when Biden paused new leases for a review. The only thing that increased was the Neo-GOP propaganda and spreading this lie. Demand finally started increasing and producers couldn't, or wouldn't increase production to match demand, and the prices continued to steadily increase. There was no sharp rise that you would associate a single mans actions with a pen or a sharpie that showed almost a vertical leap or steep increase in price. Unless you look at this years graphs.......

The spike began before that. It began when Biden took office. Russia had nothing to do with it. Biden's anti-fossil fuel crusade caused the prices to rise.

Obama/Biden started the civil war in Ukraine in the first place.
