What detail could overcome the 8th A prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment? Or do you see the Constitution as a quaint relic of the past that can be ignored at trump's discretion?Possibly, depending on the details of the program.
Ever hear of solitary confinement?Well, that wouldn't be the POINT of such a program, but IF I was in charge of hte program, it would get the most animalistic monsters out of our prisons, so that the more, human criminals would not be caged with them.
OK so it is scary to be around MS-13 gangsters in El Salvador.Nothing saying that a prisoner held in el salvador would not have the right to appeal, and as I said, I think being held at the "mercy" of ms-13 and their ilk, is more cruel than NOT.
Ignoring the Constitution
Violating free speech rights
Due process rights
Habeas corpus rights
And ignoring direct SUPREME COURT rulings
This man has to go

Biden followed the Courts direction and adjusted his strategy accordingly
He is running the TRUMP Playbook.
Do whatever you wish
If anyone complains say…..Sue me
If it goes to a lower court, just mock them and appeal
Plan on the Conservative Supreme Court covering for you
If they rule against you, just ignore them
Facilitate? Good luck with that

Urp Derp!! The issue is the constitution. We side with the lawI love that Dems are still siding with RAPING, MURDERING illegals. Keep going Dems until your party is 20% of the vote.
Don't try so hard to be a nitwit. It will surely come out naturally.Well, the gang was actually formed in Kalifornia, USA. So it makes zero sense for any motherfucking moron to claim they are going to the USA to seek asylum from MS-13.
No. It’s not.Is that kind of like “well regulated militias”?
The Fifth Amendment provides that no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.1 Generally, due process guarantees protect individual rights by limiting the exercise of government power.2 The Supreme Court has held that the Fifth Amendment, which applies to federal government action, provides persons with both procedural and substantive due process guarantees. If the federal government seeks to deprive a person of a protected life, liberty, or property interest, the Fifth Amendment’s Due Process Clause requires that the government first provide certain procedural protections.3 Procedural due process often requires the government to provide a person with notice and an opportunity for a hearing before such a deprivation.4

The reason folks like me keep referring to Abrego Garcia's due process rights under the Constitution is because the 5th A makes no mention of a citizenship requirement for its application. Therefore, because he was not afforded 'procedural due process," his rights were violated.
Moving on, the 8th A is very straightforward.
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

I think even trump fans would agree what we know about the conditions in El Salvador's CECOT prison constitutes punishment that is cruel and unusual by US standards. It was reported yesterday that trump has assigned Pam Bondi to the task of looking at ways to legally justify deporting US citizens, presumably convicted of crimes, to a CECOT prison.
A reasonable interpretation of which can be construed as her instructions being to look for ways to get around the clear language of the 8th A. Said another way, the AG of the United States is now willingly seeking a justification for violating the Constitution. Something she said under oath she would not do. The truly astonishing aspect of all of this being in the context of a trump presidency it's not astonishing in the least.

Hate to say this but rape and murder is done by ALL peopleI love that Dems are still siding with RAPING, MURDERING illegals. Keep going Dems until your party is 20% of the vote.
Only if the claim is credible.Depended on status
Those seeking asylum are granted a hearing.
Our laws apply to all people whether they are citizens or not.So, I'm curious about whom the cotus applies to? You're right, it doesn't specificly say "citizens" but wouldn't it be implied? The 2A also doesn't mention citizens, does this mean illegals are allowed to own guns?

So do the protections of our laws
