Let's talk about the rights enumerated in the 5th and 8th amendments.

BAD

Our Constitution is the bedrock our nation was built on.
Although the US constitution is well out of date.

The reason why laws and constitutions exist is because things happened, they come about because of wrongs. Not everything wrong is against the law or constitutions. So as things happen, laws and constitutions change/update.

So let any president test the constitution and laws, and let congress make it more robust. If they don't, it's their fault, and you guys elected them to represent you.

Trump said the Constitution should be terminated if it gets in his way

Is this really the country you want?

Only in your head.

When you lefties supported the policies of allowing tens of millions of illegals into the country, you set this up to be a messy crisis.

That's cleary true.

MEanwhile the shit talk you spew, is just shit.

You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it.

YOu lefties have LOST the debate of ideas and you know it.

Thus your refusal to engage in any honest discussion.

ALL you do is shit talk.

That is an overt lie I invite you to try to prove.

How would it be good for the prez to defy a ruling from the SC?

You cheered loudly when Joe Biden did it.

He even bragged about it, and you clapped like a trained seal.

"It is pretty obviously illegal and unconstitutional," said Ilya Somin, a professor at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School.

Immigration law that gives the government the authority to deport people simply does not apply to U.S. citizens, noted Emma Winger, a lawyer at the American Immigration Council, a nonprofit advocacy group.

The reason folks like me keep referring to Abrego Garcia's due process rights under the Constitution is because the 5th A makes no mention of a citizenship requirement for its application. Therefore, because he was not afforded 'procedural due process," his rights were violated.

I'm inclined to disagree.

Slaves weren't afforded rights under the 5th amendment as they were not considered citizens until passage of the 14th amendment decades later, upon conclusion of the Civil War.

Perhaps. imo, that reflects more on the courts, than me.

If you were being sent into a prison to do some time, would you rather have ms-13 in charge of the yard, or the actual warden as in El Salvador MAX?
Would you support US citizens, actual citizens, being sent there?

Slaves were not protected under the Fifth Amendment. The Fifth Amendment protects individuals from being deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law, but slaves were legally considered property, not persons, so the amendment did not protect them from being taken or sold without compensation.
