No, NYC is home to all manner of organized crime that has a way of policing itself. "Peace," is good for business, and deals get cut. Its also much harder to get away with murder in NYC than the everglades.

Blue ideals such as early release and the current "Warren carreer path," being mirrored by Kamala Harris, for example; mean criminals walk free. Pedos get let out, true monsters get released instead of doing life. Many times laws are ignored to keep sentencing down (automatic sentencing guidelines for firearms are often avoided).

Narcan is handed out for free. Both are lifesaving, yet the one needed by happenstance rather than being self inflected costs a grand. The ACA is a sham, and was literally unconstitutional as written originally. Probably because our legislators couldn't be bothered to write it themselves. If they were so worried about keeping costs down, then why on earth are they used to limit corporate profits? The ACA caps profits based on costs of care.

They literally legislated it so the corpotations only way to make more money is to raise costs. And everyone still needs to ask why prices are rising? Theres 0 downward pressure anywhere. Do you think the suppliers are going to come back to them saying, "this is too much money!"?

The current year over year spikes in costs and burden are the only likely outcome of the ACA. There is no downward pressure anywhere. The FDA is a joke, probably as bad as the FCC. The FDA deems methodone "life saving medicine." Seriously. Big Pharma's recommended solution to opioids is less dangerous opioids. And Docs are playing ball while the courts are busy making sure why none of the Alphabet Agencies have to answer any questions. States get lump sums with no strings attached, a sure fire way to ensure grift, waste and overall guarranteed monetary inefficiency compared to handing it over to those really affected by it.

The simplest solution would be to hand it to the families with missing junky parents. The courts allow junkies to skip out on support, giving hardships based on the cost of methodone. It all seems like a lot of bullshit to allow a weak person avoid 3 days of self inflicted misery.

The only people bearing the brunt of the epidemic are the affected children and single parents left to fight the court system over when enough is enough. The courts see no problem with doped up parents driving kids around. No issue with kids at the clinic in the first place.

If you can't simply go through 3 days of hell and stay off opiates, you should have no say in anything pertaining to a child. 1. Democrats want to eradicate the criminal part of US Code 8, Section 1325, which makes it criminal for illegal aliens to cross the US border without authorization from US immigration officials. Keyword >> Decriminalize.

2. Democrats voted overwhelming to give sanctuary to illegal aliens (a violation of US Code 8, Section 1324)

3. Democrat mayors and governors all across America, repeatedly order police to stand down, allowing criminals to engage in crime (ex. Baltimore riots, Ferguson riots/looting/arson, San Jose, Chicago, New York City, Tampa, Portland, Minneapolis, etc)

4. Who can ever forget Judge Joseph Charles allowing a Muslim husband to rape and beat his wife, when the guy claimed it was OK, because Islam said so ? Denied restraining order.
