He is a very loving God. He gave us His Son so that all those people who committed those sins would rise from the dead.

God controls life or death. He's always trying to teach us with them. I hope someday you are willing to learn.

God was trying to teach the Israelites an important lesson: Sin leads to death, physical and spiritual.

The law was designed to point them to God, the one true path to life. Life comes through the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Hey stupid, you DO realize that the OT is a book for those of the Jewish faith, right? Those laws come from the 613 mitzvoht in Judaic theology.

You shouldn't have to follow those rules if you're not Jewish. And, FWIW, those aren't punishments for "sins" those are punishments for not following Judaic law.

The only "sins" that there are are those listed in the 10 Commandments.

He is in the Bible...read the New Testament (unless you're Jewish). Jesus was God in flesh, and he was (is) VERY loving.

No, I'm not going to read the Bible anymore in my lifetime. The God of the Bible is jealous, vengeful, angry, condemning and violent.

This is a real bummer because, you know, who doesn't like "putting holy anointing oil on strangers"?

Hey, don't knock it 'til you try it!
