What keeps their costs down are malpractice and drug company liability limitations and heavy subsidization.

I am 57, I worked jobs with a lot of labor for about 7 years. I moved into management waaay back which evenetually led to operating a $16m business for 9 years.
Point being, I have done both. Physical labor and Mental labor jobs. And i can tell you without a moment of thought - high stress, mental management work is MUCH harder and strenuous than physical labor work. It's not even close.
