Latest Ukrainian Peace Plan From the US...Ukraine Surrenders, NATO Cannot Expand; Russia Gives Up Nothing.

AP Reporting:

Some highlights (or lowlights) from the article:
  • For example, the proposal would not only bar Ukraine from joining NATO but would also prevent the alliance’s future expansion. Such a step would be a significant victory for Moscow, which views NATO as a threat.
  • Putin would also gain ground he has been unable to win on the battlefield. Under the draft, Moscow would hold all the eastern Donbas region, even though approximately 14% still remains in Ukrainian hands. Ukraine’s military, currently at roughly 880,000 troops, would be reduced to 600,000.
  • Under the proposal, Russia would commit to making no future attacks, something the White House views as a concession.
  • Russia would also be allowed to keep half of the power generated by Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, Zaporizhzhia, which it captured from Ukraine early during the war.
There seems to be little in it for Ukraine or the US. One has to wonder on what planet such a plan ever saw the light of day.
In other words, a nice pause for Russia to regroup and prepare to take the whole of Ukraine.

Who didn't see this coming? Except everyone who has watched Trump for 10 years.

If they wanted all of Ukraine, they would have taken it long ago.

False. They did want all of Ukraine, and the incompetence of Putin and his military, coupled with a western coalition backing Ukranian fighters, has caused them to stall.

Recall Putin had a puppet president waiting in Belarus and thought he would be installing him in Kyiv within weeks, when the invasion started.

No. Foolish.

It took ten years for Putin to act, after your hero Big Ears committed the coup and supported mass murdering thousands of Russian speakers in the Donbas.

But you think he’s bent on world domination, just as the MIC wants you to think.

Think better.

No, he clearly thought he would take Kyiv within weeks. He clearly and publicly said so. He clearly tried and failed, when his tank columns turned into a global laughingstock, because of mud.

Moving on...

Or he hoped Ukraine would fold quickly ending the war and any dreams of NATO nuclear missiles minutes from the Kremlin.

It depends. Russia is not interested in the territory per se. There is nothing really useful (which cost more than a war). Russia is interested in wealth and safety of Russians. If safety (and rolling back of NATO's military infrastructure to, at least, borders of 1997) as well as denazification of the rest of Ukraine and Baltic states can be provided diplomatically - ok, there will be no significant reason for attacking rest of Ukraine, Baltic states or, say, France. If America and NATO see it not as a turning point in Russia-American relationship, and first step in building mutually acceptable reliable and lasting peace, but just a ceasefire to allow continue discrimination and genocide of Russians in Ukraine and Baltic states or continue militarisation of Eastern Europe - then, of course, will be war.

You should know by now to never believe the MSM when they report on the empire’s enemies. They always lie for the benefit of the empire. You’re too old to still be falling for their lies.

So here is a good tip for you. Never accept as truth anything they say about Russia, China, Iran, and Venezuela.

Stupid lies, naturally. Thus the ability of the US to make deals for Ukrainian resources.

But in the end, the invasion is about a vain psychopath who is steeped in 19th century Russian mythology trying to make a legacy for himself.

Those resources (most of them) weren't profitable even in much better times - with cheap Russian energy and working infrastructure.

NATO expansion isn't 19th century mythology, is it? And illegal and unprovoked agressions against Serbia in 1999 and Iraq in 2003 were pretty real, weren't they?

Another weird lie.

I am not interested in your overwrought, parroted propaganda. Sorry. You can move on.

Russia doesn't think that there are few dozen "Nazies" (in Russian understanding of the word). More like few million. Say nothing that Russia see significant part of European elites as Nazies, too. And the main problem we are going to discuss is rolling back of NATO military infrastructure back to 1997 borders.

What are the 5 biggest differences between "Nazies" and Commies?

And the main problem we are going to discuss is rolling back of NATO military infrastructure back to 1997 borders.

Why would that happen?

The MSM lied, Russia took all of Ukraine in the first few months.
