Jesus noted that those who speak against the Son of Man can be forgiven....blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is what cannot be forgiven. Another point to consider is how many years were the Apostles in close association with Jesus before they understood his divinity? Yet how many times do we see posts against the Jewish faith here, assuring them they will never see the Kingdom of God? They know little to nothing of Jesus and his teachings, but those who follow him are preaching condemnation/eternal punishment to those who do not. Think about it. Would you ever introduce a close friend in this manner: You must meet my very good friend and you must hang on his every word. If you don't, he will punch you in the face. I don't know about others, but I would take great pains to avoid meeting this friend.Fine words indeed and much truth to them. Nevertheless ... anyone who rejects Jesus Christ as the Son of God and God in the flesh (foundational and at the core of all Christian doctrine) will NOT enter into the Kingdom of God. There's no getting around that. No amount of mental gymnastics can open a special pathway to God's Kingdom just because we wish it so.
Nobody can "act" like a Christian unless they "believe" like a Christian. Nobody will be awarded the benefits of Christianity without first adhering to the tenets of Christianity. Attempting to keep the 613 Laws of the Old Testament may be a lofty goal but nobody can do it perfectly and attempting to will NOT save a man's soul.
Remember Jesus noting that sinners and prostitutes in his own day were entering the Kingdom of God ahead of those who were known to keep the law? I see the 613 laws you mention in the same way I see maintaining a home. Mopping, dusting, laundry, cooking, mowing the lawn, gardening, etc. may be part of creating a happy home environment, but none of this ushers anyone into the Kingdom of God. What does? Love. Love of God and Love of Neighbor. I cannot imagine standing before the Pearly Gates and arguing, "But you must let me in. I mowed my lawn every week!"
Finally, Jesus taught that the Kingdom of Heaven was like a man searching for treasure, and finding it, sells all he has to obtain the treasure. Then he said that the Kingdom of Heaven was also searching for pearls of great price--and would give all it had to obtain those pearls. We are searching for the kingdom--and the kingdom is searching for us.
