keys to the kingdom

there was no church, they abandoned jesus to their ill begotten fate they most certainly did not know and most likely would have feared their physical awakening had he done so - as well the roman army ... their judgement surly was most expedient.

* save their lifestyle that itself is an affront to the judaism false commandments. same as for mary joseph and mary m. never needing wed-lock having all lived ever happily the rest of their lives, free spirits to the end.
Yes, there was. Google it. They didn't abandon Jesus. They worshipped him.

their followers did not worship him -

they agreed with him and paid the same price for their beliefs - long since perished before the phony 4th century christian bible betrays them all.

The cross, on the other hand represents death, and a horrible death at that. Death was overcome and Christians remember this--and all Jesus taught.
Interesting perspective. As a child, I viewed the crucifix as a symbol of strength - it was simple to me.

As an adult, I view the cross not as a symbol of death but as the burden we carry as human beings - in striving to lead balanced, well adjusted lives - in a world that can challenge those concepts on a daily basis - "carrying the cross".

Spiritually, when I do the sign of the cross, it represents honor and reverence to God - and Divine protection through Grace.

It has never represented death to me.

I prefer the crucifix.

A crucifix features a detailed figure of Jesus (the corpus) on a cross, emphasizing his suffering and sacrificial love. A cross is a simple, empty structure representing victory over death and the resurrection. Crucifixes are commonly used in Catholic and Orthodox traditions, while Protestants generally prefer empty crosses.

Key Differences & Similarities
  • Crucifix:
    • Focus: Emphasizes Christ's death, atonement, and the "full story" of the Passion.
    • Features: Includes the corpus (body of Jesus) nailed to the cross.
    • Usage: Common in Catholic churches, homes, and for personal devotion.
  • Cross:
    • Focus: Represents the empty tomb and Jesus' resurrection, symbolizing triumph.
    • Features: A plain, empty T-shaped symbol.
    • Usage: Widely used across all Christian traditions, especially Protestantism.

That's not how history recorded it.

you mean how the crucifiers used jesus to write their christian bible, and you have their archive of documents used they painstakingly preserved - where might that be ... not one single document or archive preserved by them.

No. I mean how the traditions of the first Christians did. I'm not a protestant. I lean heavily on Tradition.

I guess that's an improvement over you putting your magical bogga wogga death curse on me. Who knew you believed in magical things :dunno:
I never put a curse of any kind on you. I have merely alerted you to the fact that you have cursed yourself by defying Divine Law. What I gave you is something to repeat over and over again until your eyes are opened to the secret meaning of those words, OWA TANA SIAM.

Try it. Your soul depends on it!

So you believe the Torah teaches that God doesn't care about his creatures?
The Torah teaches that God is passionately devoted to those who are devoted to him.

The truth is he doesn't give two shits if you choose to remain a jackass with the form and shape of a flabby human being and an intelligence just slightly above that of a funky monkey.

Thats what the wilderness that you are lost in is for. Hell, Sheol, the realm of the dead, the hopelessly insane who find masochistic humor and cackle at their own pathetic aberrations.

Can I get an ooh ooh ahh ahh?

You admitting to believe in magic is funny.
Well, no, and yes, if it wasn't so sad.

Think about it. A talking serpent, a deceiver, convinced you that the way to salvation is to worship and eat a matzo made by human hands for spiritual life. That is objectively funny.

And you can't face the truth that you have been had. That right there is some strong magic.

So I am a believer in funny magic!

Rube. Few people choose evil because it is evil, many choose evil by mistaking it for good.

Sure you have. I'm still waiting for something bad to happen to me. So far, only blessings from God.

You've done way more than that. I'm sure Jesus appreciates you telling people he put a curse on them. Remind me again how Jesus can curse anyone if he's just a Jewish man?
Try it. Your soul depends on it!
You don't believe in souls. You believe it's game over at death.

What death is that if not the death for defying Divine Law. So what if Jesus did. When will you?
The first commandment exists because they were a bunch of polytheists who had difficulty letting go of their pagan ways. There were no supernatural events in the OT. That was Jewish embellishment. They did however seek out God and were rewarded with Jesus Christ who they rejected.

Incorrect. God very much loves his creatures. How can he not? God is love after all, among other "things."

My my my.... look at how you need to lash out.
Thats what the wilderness that you are lost in is for.
I'm not lost. I'm very much in love with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. They send their regards.
Hell, Sheol, the realm of the dead,
The kingdom of God is now.
the hopelessly insane who find masochistic humor and cackle at their own pathetic aberrations.
The beliefs of others really does upset you.
Can I get an ooh ooh ahh ahh?
This is what it looks like when you are at war with someone instead of being at peace with yourself.

Sure, Thats easy. Jesus as the Jewish Messiah spoke with God face to face. God told him to curse the nations. See Jeremiah 25:15. Jesus prayed to God for "THIS CUP" to pass him by showing that Jesus didn't want to curse the actions but did exactly as God commanded him.

"This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, said to me:

Take from my hand "THIS CUP" of fiery wine and make all "the nations" to whom I send you drink it. WHEN THEY HAVE DRUNK IT THEY WILL VOMIT AND GO MAD; such is the sword that I am sending among them."

:wine:

No. It's funny you leave yourself open so that I can say it's funny you believe in magic.

Incorrect again. Did you use magic to ascertain that?

Yeah, I heard that there still some primitive people out there in the wilderness perpetuating polytheistic trinitarian beliefs and strange vile and degrading practices. In this day and age!

Celebrating human sacrifice and cannibalism.

Imagine that!

Sure, Thats easy. Jesus as the Jewish Messiah spoke with God face to face. God told him to curse the nations.
When was that? How do you know about it?
See Jeremiah 25:15.
That's not what that was about. I suggest you use google to correct your error.
Jesus prayed to God for "THIS CUP" to pass him by showing that Jesus didn't want to curse the actions but did exactly as God commanded him.
Also incorrect. Google is your friend.

"Take from my hand :"THIS CUP" of fiery wine and make all "the nations" to whom I send you drink it. WHEN THEY HAVE DRUNK IT THEY WILL VOMIT AND GO MAD; such is the sword that I am sending among them."
Are you in a habit of taking scripture out of context. Google is your friend.

Yeah, I heard that there still primitive people out there perpetuating polytheistic trinitarian beliefs and very strange vile and degrading practices. In this day and age!
Have you asked google why the first commandment was needed?
