Iran is winning the political battle. Regardless of the righteousness of Trump's cause his poll numbers continue to fall. GOP support for him will also jeopardize the midterms for the GOP. This is what Iran is angling for, to defang the Trump administration. IMO, Trump should make any deal he can get to open up the strait of Hormuz, even feigning strategic defeat. He can resume bombing after the fall elections.

Trump needs to hang tough on Iran. We have the blockade, its working.
We aren't suffering nearly as much as the Iranians.
I don't know why Trump doesn't use "Chinese Torture" bombing, bomb just a few things a day to get their attention.
A powerplant today, a bridge tomorrow, their missile factory the next day, the IRGC after that, etc. until they give up their enriched uranium. I'd also bomb the RR bridges to China, and the pumping stations to the Caspian Sea.
