Because that "one time event" establishes who's in charge for the next 2 YEARS in the house amd senate. And if polling places are a lower priority why start an OP defending Ice's precense?
If you believe that showing an ID is a problem, you should've had the same concerns about people not being allowed to go to certain places and do things without a vaccine passport. Something you did had to carry on your person and be ready to present it, whether you were a citizen or not.

If you think about it, Democrats insist and are certain illegals don’t vote in elections. If ICE is putting any effort to be near polling places during an election, that’s fewer resources to go after illegals elsewhere. Couple this with Democrats concern over illegals being left off voter registration polls and SAVES Act passage.

It's the lack of ID from the Armed Masked Thugs that is the problem. It's No problem having to show my drivers license when I vote. I can't remember a time when I didn't. Once upon a time I think Texans could use the voter registration card to vote.
Federal law enforcement officers aren't required by federal law to have their ID on them or show their IDs on command. Just like there's no federal law that forbids federal law enforcement officers that bans them from wearing masks or having to have on a uniform that clearly shows that they're law enforcement. BTW, inform me of what right do citizens have to interfere with officers within their official capacity? When has this happened as much as right now? If they didn't try and interfere, how many would've been shot by the "Armed Masked Thugs"?
