You have to prove citizenship when you register to vote. Any government issued photo ID should be all that is required to vote.

A special voter ID card is an efficient way of restricting access to voting. That’s why Republicans are pushing it.

Less than half the population is voting. Trump was elected by 22% of the population. No mandate whatsoever.
