Junk Yards Refusing To Take Electric Vehicles

They are charging 5 grand to take the batteries out here in Wyoming... to remove the batteries and dispose of them before you can take the car to the junk yard....
And EV's are over 50% dearer than the equivalent ICE vehicle. So add that to the 5 grand and the alarmists will say...........it's cheaper to refuel an EV.

This EV idea is a monumental fuck up.

Many in low IQ America can't think outside the box. It's not that surprising when Dems try to be the model for them. The mistake was to allow any psycho to be able to charge for removal in the first place. The previous mistake to that one was failing to standardize the battery and make it modular. This IQ continues its squinting out from the fog with the failure to wrest the control of litihium from the Chinese communists by not selling it back to them but recycling it from within the United States. Note that it wasn't a Dem who has thought of these things. Eco JoeXi is way over-rated for having (been told [italics]) that eco is a hot bandwagon buzzword.

Clicking on the Alliant page will retrieve the photo of the solar farm, to be completed late 2022. There is no discussion on this thread about costs of lithium recycling to accompany battery-removal lamentations.

"Simply" smelted and the metals separated and recovered? That doesn't sound simple or inexpensive.

Go visit Chinese beaches ... all the pollution blows out to sea ... half of the EV's are sold in China ... so recycling is a Chinese problem, and they just torch the shit ... simple, cheap, and someone else's problem ...

Yes, it is better for the Chinese to burn the world's garbage, otherwise it all goes into the oceans ...
