Judge rules deportation was “an illegal act”

Is that what's being insisted on? Not by me. Only that his deportation was illegal, and as admitted to by the regime, unwarranted.

If he's not an upstanding citizen, he should be deported.

El Salvador isn't going to keep him in CECOT if he's just a minor creep. They have other prisons for that

Its past time to show district judges what/where their boundaries are.
Do you mean federal district judges?
Their "boundaries" are anything to do with federal law within the United States.

This individual, Garcia, is in El Salvador, not in the USA at all.

Let the appeal go through the El Salvadorian system

Nope. A single district judge doesn't have the authority to overrule a president's Article 2 power.

I do agree that Congress or the USSC needs to state such in a Law or ruling.

It is until another court overrules it.

The court that has jurisdiction is in El Salvador.

This fellow is an illegal, he has no business being in America, although if he isn't a criminal, he should be released in the Salvadorean population

They do if that president is operating outside of his constitutional authority.

GREENBELT, Md. (AP) — A federal judge on Friday ordered the Trump administration to arrange for the return of a Maryland man to the United States after he was mistakenly deported to a notorious El Salvador prison, while a U.S. government attorney was at a loss to explain what happened.

The US must return a Maryland man mistakenly deported to an El Salvador prison, judge says

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement expelled Kilmar Abrego Garcia last month despite an immigration judge’s 2019 ruling that shielded him from deportation to his native El Salvador, where he faced likely persecution by local gangs.

Before she issued her ruling, U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis described Abrego Garcia’s deportation as “an illegal act” and pressed Justice Department attorney Erez Reuveni for answers, many of which he didn’t have.

Now we're getting somewhere.
I'll accept that. The administration admitted it made a mistake, it's only fair they correct it. Bring him back, then let's move on to the other 600,000 terrorists.

And prosecute Donald Trump for violating this man's constitutional rights?

Garcia's rights are under the El Salvadorean Constitution.

BTW, there is no reason why he shouldn't go back to El Salvador if he is a law abider as libs say.

Presidente Bukele has resolved the crime problem in his tremendous nation with his hard line against gang members. Garcia will be perfectly safe in his own country

Where does it say they get to run the Executive Branch?

Did she explain why she considered it "an illegal act?"

This judge definitely needs impeached.

The case was moot before the case was heard.

The subject, Mr. Garcia, was already safely in his home country when the case was argued.

There were no grounds for a ruling here, particularly a ruling that the US government is unable to perform.

The Executive Branch will likely add that Order to their collection of toilet paper... :auiqs.jpg:
