He has great skills stuck on a below average team

I think Mendoza may face the same problem

Sam Darnold showed what a simply capable QB can do on a good team. Some HOF QB's never won a Super Bowl.

Brady and company are turning that Raiders team around, they have been terrible at drafting and free agency but since Brady arrived that has changed, they just made some really good moves. They have a lot of work to do as the AFC West is strong and the Raiders are at the bottom.

The Raiders had better get him a great offensive line and some weapons.
At least Tom Brady is part of the ownership team. He gets it. That's the only thing that gives me hope that Mendoza won't end up with a short, ugly career.

He is definitely a class act. And he's got the talent to be great if they play their cards right.

I hope the O Line can give him more than 2.5 seconds is all. Its a rough place to QB lately.

QBs are a crap shoot coming out of college. He is big and mobile and will probably sit as a Rookie learning from Kirk Cousins. He did about all you can do in college, but the NFL is a big jump.

I can't wait to see the video of him and Brady together chatting, I hope one, or both, speak to the camera, I'm guessing it will all look a little awkward and wooden.

He has a lotta talent, but is he tough enough? He played against teams in college with 3 or 4 killers on defense. He'll be playing against teams with 11 killers every week now. Big jump.

What the Raiders really need to do is go back to playing good ol fashioned RAIDER FOOTBALL

1. leading the league in penalties and players ejected from games
2. giving shoves after the play
3. pointing fingers


Since Gruden was the coach, the Raiders ceased playing RAIDER FOOTBALL and look what happened to them....
