Judge rules deportation was “an illegal act”

When Kilmar Abrego Garcia gets his day in court, he is going to wipe out all the DOGE savings.
He is going to get a HUGE settlement.
He deserves it. :)

Only the USSC has the Constitutional authority to rule on presidential power.
Nobody is ruling on the issue of presidential power.
Besides, you are wrong. Federal courts (along with the SCOTUS) are all part of the constitutional three COEQUAL branches of government which exist to serve as checks and balances on one another.
GEEZ!
Why don't you go buy a used civics textbook somewhere and read up on this?
A federal court steps up and does it's J-O-B checking The Executive Branch's power and you MAGAts are about to stroke out!
Settle down. Even though you would obviously prefer a king or dictator Trump is JUST the POTUS.
He doesn't have ALL the power. The founding fathers made sure of that. They spread EQUAL power among all three branches of government, The Judicial Branch (including all federal courts) is only one of those three branches.
Just FYI, the other branch is The Legislative which includes both houses of the U.S. Congress which is also supposed to serve as a check and balance on presidential power....but it isn't doing it's job.
Be glad the courts are.

no, you are wrong again :itsok:

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement expelled Kilmar Abrego Garcia last month despite an immigration judge’s 2019 ruling that shielded him from deportation to his native El Salvador, where he faced likely persecution by local gangs.
This “Father of the year” can’t go home cuz his rival gangs want to kill him.

This DICTATOR doesn't care. His supporters are salivating and "high fiving" and chanting "MAGA" and "lock them up"
B-b-b-b-b-ut that's what the Biden-Harris-Waters-Dinero-View-MIC gaggle were doing when they pressed false charges against Donald J. Trump.

Funny, you didn’t give two shits that all these illegals were streaming in to the country, but your heart bleeds now that they’re being kicked out…

GMAB. 🙄

If Trump & his goon squad had the right to deport him then why did they break the law & send him to El Salvador without due process that he has a right to? If the coxsuckers did that then we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Can those assholes get anything right?
Someone IS getting it right, and you’re triggered by it.

This guy was NOT illegal. This was an asylum seeker, following the rules. I care about people that "follow the rules".
If you don't follow the rules, "Go Home"

GREENBELT, Md. (AP) — A federal judge on Friday ordered the Trump administration to arrange for the return of a Maryland man to the United States after he was mistakenly deported to a notorious El Salvador prison, while a U.S. government attorney was at a loss to explain what happened.

The US must return a Maryland man mistakenly deported to an El Salvador prison, judge says

Before she issued her ruling, U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis described Abrego Garcia’s deportation as “an illegal act” and pressed Justice Department attorney Erez Reuveni for answers, many of which he didn’t have.

Now we're getting somewhere.

The Judge need to go to El Salvador and forcefully bring that Illegal Alien back to America!

The asylum system has been abused for decades by these line jumpers...

"The U.S. government has long-argued that Abrego Garcia resident has ties to MS-13, a criminal gang that began in immigrant communities in Los Angeles with ties to Central and South American countries."

And to address your faux, tear jerking reporting on the immigration order....

"In 2019 during an immigration hearing, a judge issued a removal order, but added a clause preventing Abrego Garcia's removal to El Salvador because there was enough evidence he could be persecuted if returned home."

So, spare us the fake outrage...

this guy has chosen his life path, now he is back home...I don't see a problem.
