That being said, this is where the opposition is wrong. There was no need to tear down an entire wing of the White House. The courts allowed it to happen. Previous presidents altered the White House and its wings. So, the large gatherings of foreigners need to continue staying under tents on the White House Lawn? This negatively affects guests the guests that come in significant numbers to events when the left will be in charge. Not liking Trump is one thing, but this has nothing to do with politics. For too long the White House Press (left/right) have been crowded into a small standing room only room for White House Press briefings. The Ballroom could be used for the briefings, with room for all the press to sit and be comfortable when the Ballroom isn't being used for visiting dignitaries.
