Being anti war is nothing wrong with. Over the years and decades my opinions change after endless times with no result. So a war is one thing, while a police action is another. A war means complete destruction of the enemy. We do not do that anymore.

The Taliban takeover of Afghanistan has been the inevitable results ever since Dubya launched this war nearly twenty years ago. Anyone with an ounce of understanding of the Islamic extremists' mindset could, and did predict the United States' occupation would be unending if the elected government of Afghanistan was expected to survive.

The only option to guarantee democracy survives in Afghanistan, would require the United States make Afghanistan the fifty-first state.

Unfortunately, with the GOP's widespread attack on voting rights here at home, and the Q-crazy trump Nazis that will control the government late next year, it is most likely democracy in the U.S. will end roughly eighteen months after that in Afghanistan. Give or take a few weeks.

Given the timing of the 2022 Mid-term Elections, the white supremacist/neo-Nazi fascists should be burning down the Capitol Building sometime around February 2023, almost ninety years to the day after Hitler's Nazis destroyed the Reichstag in February, 1933.
