I neither believe nor disbelieve in the existence of God but I have always assumed (rather strongly) that Jesus Christ existed as a mere prophet. I accepted that everything else about him is hog-wash. But now I am not so sure he existed at all.

There were many prophets in that era, one of whom may have been Jesus.

There are records from that era, none of which substantiate the Jesus in the Bible

I'm an atheist but I'm firmly convinced there was an itinerant, apocalyptic, Jewish preacher who was crucified by the Romans. I believe almost all we know about him is theological myth but he was a real person with a real following.

There's no proof we're not all characters in some galactic video game either. It's all a matter of faith.
Believing that we are all characters in a video game is a matter of faith? I think the most important part of this subject is what we do not believe rather than what we do believe. Shall I spell it out?

were there the 1st century events, repudiation of judaism whitewashed by both desert religions judaism, 4th century christianity ... as the true reason for the notoriety of the occasion highlighted by jesus.

1st century events - stone throwing jews religious oppression et al - mary was not stoned to death, the magi were sent by the heavens to protect her and is the the heavenly coarse from there to the final scene the crucifixion of jesus.

the history of religious oppression - is what is lacking entirely by all three desert religion bibles - their books are not heavenly is not to say many were, jesus who is themselves misrepresented by both judaism and christianity proving when realized their true corrupt idolatry to the heavens.

I'll admit I didn't get far at all into the video you posted. So perhaps you must spell it out as I took the basis of your questioning to be a matter of Records and Witnesses, as seen on the video's title screen. It had me curious as to your standard of belief in determining whether or not to buy into something.
