It's still getting hotter

why does one Earth polar circle have 9 times the ice of the other?

was my question above to crock

crock is a big liar. crock claims to live in FLA but had never heard of the term "canes" before.

Truth is, crock lives in Israel, and crock's HEBREW TO ENGLISH translation software doesn't work that well...
You didn't respond to the answer I gave. This is precisely what you said the last time I presented this same answer to that same question. Is there some reason for that besides you being an ignorant antisemitic bigot?

Let's try again...

WHY is there 9+ times the ice on one polar circle vs the other?

"Antarctica" is not an answer to WHY....

I didn't say "Antarctica". I said "the Antarctic continent". You are now obligated to give us the correct answer and, if necessary, explain why my answer was incorrect (in your judgement).

So are you suggesting that the fact that 90% of Earth ice being on land mass Antarctica might indicate that LAND NEAR THE POLES has something to do with the amount of ice on Earth?

Yes. I bet you don't hear that word very often.

It's still getting hotter because heat is being circulated from the Atlantic to the Arctic so the Arctic is deglaciating. As the Arctic deglaciates, the northern hemisphere warms (i.e. because that's what happens in interglacial periods) and the planet warms.

Absent heat being circulated from the Atlantic to the Arctic the Arctic glaciates. As the Arctic glaciates, the northern hemisphere cools (i.e. because that's what happens in a glacial periods) and the planet cools.

So, why are we fussing about Co2 when Earth ice is about where land is, not Co2?

Because the premise on which we agree does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to demonstrate the conclusion you're claiming. It's like saying "The sun is shining in Kinshasa therefore the Mets are playing the Dodgers".

97% of Earth ice is on the two land masses closest to the poles. You just admitted that, and that Co2 has nothing to do with it.

Earth climate change is 99% about where land is and where it is moving tectonically.

LIAR. I NEVER stated that CO2 has nothing to do with it. That was you presumption.

Think about how much ice has come and gone in the last 3 million years and yet how little tectonic movement there has been in that same period. In the last 3 million years, the Atlantic ocean has spread by less than 75 miles. Now I am not denying that the rearrangement of the continental masses effects ocean circulation and the Earth's climate, but it is NOT responsible for glacial-interglacial cycles and certainly not for the warming observed since the Industrial Revolution.

3 million years ago, North America had 5+ million cubic miles of ice, Greenland had none save mountain tops, and Antarctica had less but not that much less.

During those 3 million years, North America, save Ellesmere, moved outside of the 600 miles to the Pole range while Greenland moved inside...

Greenland went ice age, North America thawed....

"glacials" are 100% pure bullshit and NA/Greenland prove it.

All of your "warming" is urban heat island effect, at least the actual warming, not the fudge.

Those links have been linked for you over and over.

What you cannot do is refute any of it, so you try this bullshit to cover up the truth that your CHOSEN REAR got SCHOOLED....

You haven't posted a single link that says, "3 million years ago, while North America was covered with ice, Greenland was ice-free"

When was the last time Greenland was ice free?

You have been shown the 2 million year DNA study link 100 times. This is all your side can do. You lost. Deal with it.

Ask him if it was because of the great flood at the time of Noah?
