And then there's the public cost. The cost of dealing with all that has to come from somewhere. Now, personally, I'd love to see the people who have fought tooth and nail to keep us from dealing with this problem early pay the bulk of the dramatically increased cost but that's not going to happen. The rest of the world has data from satellites, radiosondes, data buoys, drifters and fixed thermometers that tell a very consistent story. The data you rely on has been roundly discredited by multiple studies. When corrected, it falls in with all the rest of the data and shows the world is getting warmer.
