What I think about is what happens if the dog catches the car? What happens if Trump wins and takes a sledgehammer to the constitutional order? Even more so than before. What happens when he tries to cancel the 2028 election? How many MAGAists will stay with him?

I think there's a large percentage of MAGAs that don't really understand what they're asking for. They're just full of rage, spitting hyperbole and paranoia and talking points with no clue as to what some people are trying to do. Trump's inner circle, like Stephen Moore & Steve Bannon, is the dangerous group, just using Trump as an unwitting pawn by playing to his manipulable vanity.

If what you mention actually happens, a segment will certainly split off. BUT, what will it matter if the authoritarians have taken over?
