It was never called "Palestine"!!

The region was called Syria Palestine. To insult and humiliate the Jews and make them forget their homeland. It did not work.

The British named the Mandate Palestine to insult the Jews, as the Romans had done. They never meant for the Jews to actually rebuild their nation on their ancient homeland, giving 78% of it to the Hashemites.
Palestine was a province of Syria as noted by Herodotus in 500 BC. Who ruled in 500 BC? Palestine and trans Jordan were occupied by Arabs. Jews were a tiny minority. You weren't satisfied with the land you were given or the neverending foreign aid

Pay close attention to the ending of the movie Gaslight and what happens to Charles Boyer's character:

Another version:

Very good reason why Herodotus wrote of “Palaistine”—He coined the word. Palestine is Greek mythology.

Those are actually maps that YOU posted. I merely looked at them in detail to see that it completely refutes your claim! Thanks for the info, asswipe.

A Fraud is a fraud is a fraud. Palestinian is an invented identity stolen by the invading Arabs which referred to the Jews of the region only :

"There is no such country as Palestine. 'Palestine' is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria. 'Palestine' is alien to us. It is the Zionists who introduced it".

- Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, Syrian Arab leader to British Peel Commission, 1937 -

Nope, Palestine was the name Europeans gave to the the region, after taking over. Learn some real history. When The ottomans controled and ruled the region for over 500 years, the region was called “southern Syria” and they invited the Jews fleeing the crusaders and inquisitors to come settle in what the Ottoman Muslims considered the rightful Jewish homeland that their ancestors. They considered Jews the descendants of those people. No such thing as a Palestinian people during the Ottoman reign.

Arabs, both Muslim and Christian were the majority in Palestine for 2000 years.

Prominent Muslim geographer Muhammad al-Muqadassi, lived in Jerusalem 945 AD—991 AD: “In Jerusalem the Christians and the Jews are predominant, and the mosque is void of either congregation or assembly of learned men.”

al-Maqdisi’s name literally means “man from Jerusalem.” He stated, “In Jerusalem the Christians and the Jews are predominant, and the mosque is void of either congregation or assembly of learned men.”

Palestine never existed.
She knows the word Palestine was given to the area where the Philistines lived, when Herodotus visited that area being Greek himself .

Recent Arab fairy tales and fables keep trying to change that.

One Thousand and One Arabian Nights. And the fables continue.

Herodotus locates “Palaistine” (Philistines) between modern Lebanon and Egypt, inhabited by Philistines. Philistines originated in the Greek world and were known by Herodotus and other Greeks. Nothing to do with Arabs.

The ancient Egyptians called it Palestine when they controlled it before the Exodus

Aside from your statement being untrue, invaders invading and then becoming a “majoritY” doesn‘t make it their land. Prior to world war 1, going back for 500 years, the Ottomans who were Muslims themselves, invited the Jews to resettle back in their ancestral and religious homeland. During those 500 years, nobody in the region, including the Ottomans who ruled the land, and Arabs both Christian and Muslims did not mention or recognize a Palestine or Palestinian people. In fact, the name Palestinian referred to JEWS of the region only, until Arafat decided to hijack the name and apply it the Arab land squatters he ruled over. Prior to that, if you called an Arab a Palestinian, it would be considered an insult as the term “Palestinians” applied to the Jews of the region only.

You're talking about the treaty of Omar. They were called Palestinian refugees in 1950.

The word is Falahin not Philistia.

Were they Palestinian refugees when the Crusaders invaded?

Were they Palestinian refugees when the Ottoman Empire invaded?

Were they Palestinians when the Ottoman Empire ended?
