People left US equities to go somewhere else, investing in European equities and foreign debt. Many of them made a lot of money even with the dip. It’s not necessarily wrong to decrease volatility depending on who you are.

But I won’t go anywhere near Tesla stock. It’s so irrational. There’s no common sense with that valuation.

Tariffs will hurt China far, far more than us. One caveat is that China is willing to starve their people if they had to to get what they want. They are an evil regime. There is that. Trump is lowering the tariffs to 80%, which is hardly low, to get China to come to the table. He started high because that is the way negotiations work. Again, we will end up on the good side of this. You don't see it, but then again, you didn't see the Tesla stock surge coming.

Trump folded because the tariffs were about to hurt us VERY badly. We are dropping tariffs to 30%.

The other distant possibilities are ALL under suspicion and soon indictments will be forthcoming for embezzlement of taxpayer dollars to find their campaigns or foreign influence peddling.

Mid terms might not go how they really want. Especially as Republicans and MAGA Republicans keep having resounding successes and RINO Republicans get primaries.

Don't expect TDS folks to understand the goal here. They have no understanding of how negotiations work nor can they objectively evaluate the outcome. It’s a wild exaggeration. Their efforts were limited to public health information. Hardly a partisan effort.

Meanwhile Trump is going after law firms who dared challenge his often illegal actions. He’s going after college students who dared challenge the war in Gaza. He’s going after universities who dared disagree with his ideals.
