Is Trump Having Trouble Standing?

In Cheeto-stained tighty-whiteys.

Isn't that the standard uniform for all MAGAts? 🤔

.

How much standing did he do when the "royal couple" from England were here?

You cultists are fun.

Yes, you cultists are fun. :)

Trump himself admits he has trouble standing for long.

Trump, the oldest person yet to be inaugurated as president, kept griping about having to stand on his feet while hearing from “one after another” guest: “It was wonderful listening to them—but I said, ‘If I have to do this every day…’”

Turning to RFK Jr., he asked, “Bobby, should I stand or sit?” Kennedy slapped the president’s chair to signal for the president to retire to his desk.

“Thank you Bobby,” Trump said, before introducing Dr. Mehmet Oz, the celebrity doctor now in charge of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

He sure is sitting a lot in his photo ops.

There was a report of his ankles swelling...

I wonder if this change from his first administration is associated with that.
A lot of USNA graduates, West Point grads, and medical doctors in this forum who criticize Trump’s military policy and assess his health from afar.

Yes. He cannot walk very well either and is slurring his words.

I’m just saying that compared to his first term, he seems to be doing a lot more photo ops in the Oval Office and sitting behind the Resolute desk. This is a change from his first term in terms of number of photo ops. It looks awkward.

...and he's dozing off more in the middle of the day. The Nodfather, too old and too demented to be president.

The man is 79 years old. So, yeah he is going to have some health issues.
At least he can form a sentence and not need to be led around like a lost puppy everywhere he goes.
The last President I voted for who was over 65 was Ronald Reagan...and most people know how that turned out. Fortunately for the nation, Reagan surrounded himself with good people. Trump is not Reagan.

I don't favor a law on it, but do favor the parties avoiding nominating candidates over 65.

But Dr. Ronny Jackson said that Trump was the healthiest man to be elected to the white house.

Are you now accusing Dr. Jackson of lying?

There should be no hard and fast rule on age, since some people (take Bernie Sanders) are quite capable at an advanced age

Bernie Sanders is 84 years old. Born on September 8, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, he is currently serving as the junior United States senator from Vermont.

While others, at a much younger age already have mental and physical decline.

Republicans don't call it lying. They call it "exaggeration" and "paltering".

did dr. ronnie jackson lie about trump's health?

While there is no legal verdict stating Dr. Ronny Jackson lied, his public assessments of Donald Trump's health have been widely criticized by medical experts and political observers as "straining credulity" and being "unusually glowing". Critics point to specific details in his reports that they believe were manipulated to present a more favorable image of the president's physical fitness. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Key Points of Contention

  • Physical Metrics: In 2018, Jackson reported Trump's height as 6'3" and his weight as 239 pounds. This put him exactly one pound below the "obese" threshold for his reported height. Skeptics noted that this weight seemed low compared to photos of Trump next to athletes of similar size, and noted that Trump’s own driver's license had previously listed him at 6'2".
  • Hyperbolic Praise: Jackson claimed that Trump had "incredibly good genes" and joked that if he had a healthier diet, he "might live to be 200 years old". Such statements are generally considered non-medical and highly unusual for a professional physician's briefing.
  • Cognitive Testing: Jackson highlighted Trump's "perfect score" on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) as proof of mental sharpness. Medical professionals noted that the MoCA is a screening tool for dementia and cognitive impairment, not a measure of high-level intelligence or general mental fitness. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]

Context and Credibility Issues
Questions about Jackson's honesty were later exacerbated by several controversies regarding his professional conduct:

  • Navy Demotion: The U.S. Navy demoted Jackson from Rear Admiral to Captain in 2022 following a Pentagon Inspector General report that substantiated allegations of inappropriate behavior, including "disparaging" comments toward subordinates and the use of alcohol while on duty.
  • "Candyman" Allegations: During his time in the White House, Jackson earned the nickname "Candyman" due to allegations that he oversaw a poorly regulated pharmacy that distributed prescription drugs like Xanax and Modafinil to staffers with minimal oversight.
  • Continued Support: Despite no longer being Trump's official doctor, Jackson (now a U.S. Representative) has continued to publicly vouch for Trump's health, recently claiming in 2026 that the former president remains in "excellent" condition despite reports of physical symptoms like slurred speech and an uneven gait. Bernie has his moments. Also, the stress of being a senator from Vermont is not the same as being the top executive of the United States.

example: Bernie can't declare war on other nations in order to distract from his past.
