My favorite conservative (and you won't like what he has to say)

Thanks for the laugh, and for not watching the whole thing.

Or did it go over your head?
Well I must confess, the "Massive energy break" thing went completely over my head, if it didn't go over you head would you mind telling us what is,? what it means? and how did it get that name?...feel free to deflect, dodge or ignore anything that went over your head.

Oil is a commodity.

Commodity prices can be unstable, the break is when demand starts to exceed supply and oil guys jack up prices because nobody wants them to run out. Look up the gas price shock of the 70s, waiting in line for an hour to buy a limited amount of gas was just so much fun.

Because we are the world's largest supplier of petroleum products, prices never get as bad here as it gets most places. But it looks like it's coming.

for what reason?
Nearly half of the crude released from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) has been exported. Driven by recent global supply shortages and regional conflicts, companies have sailed at least 13 million barrels of emergency crude to Europe to partially compensate for energy deficits. [1, 2]

and how does that differ from a "massive break"

I don't have to look it up as I was starting to drive back then...odd and even plate number rationing was the order of the day, but it was called an arab oil boycott/shortage not "a break"

which is why europe needs to go "renewable" and we don't
But it looks like it's coming.
I agree with that...also looks like we are trading in our old heap of a european model for a shiny new middle eastern model with all the bells and whistles that comes from great wealth.

but I already know that reason, I want to know why, as the video pointed out, "the more energy efficient europeans" need it, and we can supply it if they are not in deep trouble?...
... this is why they really need renewable energy, climate change is just the vehicle excuse they are using.

We've been shipping oil from the reserve to Europe.
did they really need our help? the reason I asked is because, if I am remembering it correctly "they are more efficient"...a meaningless claim, but when spelled out it means europe is deep trouble but no one dare speak those words.

Yes.

"European economies are roughly 25% to 30% more energy-efficient than the USA when measured by energy intensity (the amount of energy used to produce one unit of economic output). A significant portion of this difference stems from lifestyle and cultural variations, such as mass transit, car size, and housing."

If we lived close to Putin, we would also be in trouble.

He is your favorite conservative you tell us.

Are you his favorite democrat?
